半年多前在这个小区买了套房，是在 downtown 附近介于 100 街与 92 街之间的一个
社区里。 98004 的学区，地点好，房子好，风景也还不错，邻居素质好，住得挺舒服
的。本来还想说等房价起来后，拿出去卖掉，不过年纪大了，“不折腾”，就当作养老
之所吧。
我有条黄金猎犬，五岁，每天在社区里遛狗是我的日课。
遛狗的好处除了人与狗都有得锻炼之外，也可以顺便看看人家的房子。这个社区的房子
都挺不错的，连六七十年没有改建过的 dozer 都要 $1M（主要是地价），最高可能可
以到 $3M 吧，前两天经过一套正在卖的要价 $2.67M。我喜欢在遛狗的时候顺便看看邻
居的房子，看看人家的花园怎么设计的，房子的建筑有什么特色等等。同时这个社区的
人也很有礼貌，遛狗时在路上遇见人，都会彼此点头打个招呼，不管对方是开车还是走
路的，只要遇见了就会点个头招招手。

现在我都没法相信这是事实，在我心里面他还活着。
只是我很奇怪，为什么没有梦见他，他就那么走了。可能因为太久没有联系过。而且他
是个挺绅士的人，也可能怕吓到我吧。不过我想最大的原因还是他早有更多的牵挂了：
他的父母、妻子、孩子。
这个朋友据说长得挺帅。“据说”是因为我和他太熟悉，没有这么想过。在我看来，除
了他那个突然致病的基因，我不觉得他有任何缺点。但人和人的缘分就是这样奇怪，我
从来没有想过要和他有romantic relationship，估计他也一样。听说他妻子个子挺高
，还挺漂亮，工作和家里条件也好。实在也是不明白，为什么有些事情会这样。
最可爱的一个回忆，是高考估分的时候，他估了600多，但是只写了500多。回家他偷偷
和他妈说，小笨他们都只估500多，我不敢估高了啊。还记得中学和他一起骑车回家，
当时我刚搬到新家，他给我指路，每到一个拐弯的地方，他都做个很标准的“请”的手
势，让我偷偷笑了好久。

上周末听说新唐人电视台在歌剧厅举办新年晚会，我们曾毫不怀疑能够估摸出晚会
大概的样子。在我们小的时候，父母总是拽我们去参加中国文化的各种活动，甚至我们
还会参与一些表演。中国的杂技演员顶着瓷碗向后弯腰及地。至于琵琶和古琴弹奏，我
们都见识过。还有浓饰重彩的京剧演员甩着长袖，扮演猴子的武生上窜下跳满场翻飞，
以及那伴着锣鼓家伙的嘈杂声。这些艺术都有五百年的历史了。
不过我们这里看到的却是：在电脑动画背景下，一位天使降临人间来拯救“被共产
党迫害”的法轮功练习者，还伴随着“法轮功就是好”的歌曲。
是的，我们得承认：这是我们从来没有看过的。
在降临之后，整台晚会似乎就和法轮功毫无联系，但又可以说息息相关，似乎它贯
穿了整个中国5000年的文明历史，外加多彩的画面。

FBI的网站上的41.8％和我算的25.9％的差距来自两个方面
1. 我只算了Argument over money or property and Other arguments, FBI可能是还
加上了Romantic triangle, Child killed by babysitter, Brawl due to influence
of alcohol, Brawl due to influence of narcotics. 即使加上这些只是把比例从25.
9％上升到28.4％
2. 我是算arguments除以谋杀总数，而FBI是arguments除以（谋杀总数－unknown）。
所以才FBI会给出41.8％.
我这么算是因为英国的比例也是也是除以谋杀总数得到的，如果刨去unknown, 英国的
比例应该是53/76=69.7%。还是远大于美国。
