我追了他大概3mile多，一路从highway追到local。
最后还是让他跑了，警察来写了report，但是也没有什么直接证人。
想请教大家，hit & run这种case，保险公司最后找到凶手并获得赔偿的几率大吗？
因为听一个朋友说，他被hit & run了，后来对方就是不承认，说他编故事。
唉，很伤心，车门被撞得凹进去了，右面车门只能半开了。而且我的车是半保，如果对
方不肯赔就要自己花钱修了……555

states, including California, hit and run property damage is not covered
by UM. You need to identify the car or driver and if insurance company
can confirm they don't have insurance, or cannot get insurance info from
them, then UM covers it
And you can get UMPD along with collision. UM will cover the deductible
if you have both.

我的车屁股很近，我就没有倒车了，就等前面的车走了，我就从前面开走了。在我等后
往前开的时候，那辆车的车主来了，有2－3分钟，也没有跟我说什么。整个过程，我都
没有感觉到我曾到他车了，也没有下来看，因为我根本没意识到。等我和朋友到下一个
地方，从trunk里拿东西的时候，发现后侧bumper有一些划痕，就在想会不会是刚才曾
到人家了？我很怕是hit and run，就report给我的保险公司了，保险公司的人说，我
在那个车主file hit and run之前report了，就不应该算hit and run。可是还是很惶

照全没看清，前面到红绿灯还有两辆车，路口好像也没摄像头。没有经验，当时也没来
得及找证人。
撞得感觉挺明显的，不过后来下车一看，也只有后面有2个quarter大小的小孔。给警察
打电话，50分钟都没人来。就先回家了。。。
想请问我还应该报警察不，还有应该用保险吗？我是去年买的新车，全保，不过
uninsure的deductible是$250，collision是$1000。保险公司说如果证明是hit and
run，就可以用deductible $250的。
我也不知道要不要报警，警察在这种情况下还能开给我是被hit and run的报告不。即
使报了，这种情况下保险公司会让把bangper都换了吗，还是只让给两个孔涂上漆，如
果只涂漆那走保险不是亏了？如果报告警察是不是一定得报告保险公司，那是不是就会
涨保险？还有以后卖车的话是不是就留记录了？

你要赔偿是民事法庭的事。hit and run不hit and run跟赔偿没有关系。你就和平常不

时也希望能求得一点帮助。
Part #1 - 现场
----------------------------------
1）2012年最后一个周六，downtown天轨下面，one way，我是黄色车道，对方红色车道
，对方所在lane的每一个路口都禁止左转。
2）因为路况熟悉，中间又有桥墩遮挡，事发前一点也没留意隔壁车道的情况。我的速
度25左右，事发一瞬间完全来不及做任何反应，就听一声巨响，车直直的被撞停。
3）现场脑子有点空白，忘记拍照。对方2白人，30多岁，司机女没下车，说“别担心我
们的保险会修好你的车”。副驾男下车看了一下，说“我们不要堵在路口先挪开吧”。
然后上车，开跑了。
4）我追了一段，用手机拍下了对方车牌，但是轮子有点被卡住开不动，只好靠路边停
下报警，此时离事发已有点距离，已没有证人。
5）坑爹的警察1小时才到，做了记录给了案号，我叫了AAA把车先拖回家，打给了保险
公司说了具体情况并给了警察的案号。

座位探脚出去，只能脚后跟稍微踩到，实际上借不了多少力，起不了太大帮助；另外还
要考虑到lp穿高跟鞋上下的方便，还是宽一点的advance running board好一些。其实
我自己倒不觉得需要什么running board，下车的时候脚直接踩地上；但是要考虑到别
人坐车的时候可能用的上。
roof rail坚决不装，因为我不会用得上并且不想车子增加不必要的重量。 |

一直潜水，新帐号只能发到这了。今天下午高速上从中间换到右边lane，有辆车上来
beep我一下，然后跑到我前面闪灯+打手势，虽然没有感觉到hit，但是看他的意思是要
我pullover。于是我就跟在他后面想靠边减速，但是对方一直不减速（可能是我没打灯
？）过了一分钟后对方就加速换最左边lane跑了，之后我就没能跟上。下了高速靠边检
查了车身，没有新的划痕和dent，确定没有hit，就去上课了。之后越想越后怕，要是
对方报警说有hit然后我hit and run了咋办？我想要不要先去警察局报备下？现在还来
得及么？我这算是hit and run吗？唉，晚上要睡不着了。。。。

发帖数: 51 | 21 去年底被HIT AND RUN，当时没有证人，但对方驶离现场时拍到了很清晰的牌照，警察
随后来给了HIT AND RUN的REPORT。大半个月以后警察寄来一个PHOTO MONTAGE，让我指
认对方司机的模样以起诉CRIME，可惜我没看清对方脸又时隔太久所以没法指认，警察
说他们联系不上对方，所以也无能为力，但是我可以通过保险公司向对方CLAIM。
我的车有COLLISION保险，付了1K的DEDUCTIBLE先修好了自己的车子，维修一共用了14K
。保险公司查到当时对方没有保险，而且一直没法联系上对方但是他们一直在尝试，最
近一次他们说如果再联系不上就只好CLOSE这个案子了。
常看到大家说发生HIT AND RUN记下对方牌照就万事大吉了，如此看来没有证人，没有
看清对方人脸，对方不鸟你，就真的没有办法了？难道真的只能眼看对方逍遥法外？在
我的保险公司努力尝试无果的情况下，如今自己找个律师能讨回公道吗？ |

发帖数: 4924 | 23 hit-and-run的定罪其实很难的，因为要证明你知道发生了hit，而且要进一步证明你明
明知道hit了却逃跑，这才叫hit-and-run，这个最难证明的是intention。
如果只是轻微碰了一下，那可能司机自己没有意识到，那就没有主观上的run这个情节
；或者说发生了碰撞，但是司机没有马上就跑掉，比如你这个情况，可能你留在原地一
段时间，但是因为有别的事情，所以你离开了。
反正不用怕，你就说你留在那里等车主，但是等了半个小时然后你有事情就走了，匆忙
之间没有留下你的电话等信息。不过觉得你是能惹事但是怕事的那种人，上法庭会不会
犯傻咱们就不知道了。
不过说实话，你本来应该给人家留下电话什么的。 |

我现在是不知道该去自家学校里的credit union搞贷款，
还是去dealer那边搞，因为厂商最近给了个优惠的apr，
但怕自己的不qualify（分数是铁定够的，就怕被说credit history太短了），
所以现在还在犹豫着，
因为如果找credit union那边quote的话，估计又得run我的credit check一次，
然后跑到dealer那边，又run一次……然后就不知道会被run多少次了T~T |

一个比赛结束了.就意味着等待下一个比赛 :) - mark
其实最开始是从running
club的网站知道这个比赛.但是就觉得这个5.6K的距离应该不错.何况我上半年正好是要训
练短距离.这个JPMorganCCC的全称是JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge,
包括全年18站的比赛(大部分在美国).在singapore号称是在亚洲的第一站. (我估计不久
就应该在上海搞了.呵.也算崛起的金融中心啊.)
anyway,
我其实只是想跑.于是开始游说公司去报名,但是发现本公司赶兴趣的人真是少:(,
最后包括singapore总公司出面组织,也只有20多人参加...
对我,可是要认真一点的, 于是开始认真的训练(long-run, tempo-run, interval). 还有
tapering, 甚至还有carbo-loading (最后一天我真的吃了很多..包括一些fat-icecream

迅速的穿好衣服。放上点钱，关掉手机。穿鞋。出门。
可能是因为在更西边的缘故。天亮更迟一些。所以跑出去还感觉很黑。
决定先顺第四街往东。
住的hotel比较特别。不是什么星级的，甚至都不是连锁的那种。
也不算motel.很老，但是还算干净。(网上有review说scary我倒没有感觉到:)
有点另类的是大堂的沙发放了俩印第安假人。。
位置很好，算'downtown'。就在和Iowa welcome center同样一个block.
窗户就可以看到courthouse的金色圆顶。
东边就是Port of Dubuque. river musuem还有casino.西边就是Fourth Street
