PA的两个高中尖子多，这还没算Stanford；
Lynbrook/MSJ也很不错，Monta Vista/Saratoga要差点；
Dougherty Valley/Los Altos/Irvington/Burlingame/Mills偏低，
Menlo-Atherton/San Mateo偏高，这两校的加州统考成绩（schooldigger）很一般；
如考虑学生人数，私校录取率最高。

洛杉矶地区没有最好的私立高中，只有最合适的私立高中。四所最严格私立高中是
Flintridge Prep, Pasadena Poly, Webb 和 Harvard-Westlake. 有些人可能会说最严
格的就是最好的，但对于大部分学生来说这种说法不对。对于大部分学生来说这种严格
的学校压力过大，每晚五小时的家庭作业 (脑子好使的), 加上周末，从九年级开始就
用大学程度课本。再加上2到3小时的体育训练或者演奏练习，加上社团，公共服务，和
课外活动。在申请大学的时候，大学不会因为你上一所非常难的私立学校，而对你网开
一面，反而在这里更难拿到好成绩。
最好从你所居住的周围开始咨询，因为你不会想要每天开很远的路程。就算是比较不那
么难的学校每晚也有3到4小时的家庭作业。有些学校有非常强的运动计划或者艺术计划
，所以选什么学校完全看你需要什么。不要太看中升学率，因为那主要取决与学生而不
是学校。
很多洛杉矶的天主教学校也收一部分非天主教的学生。天主教学校的费用通常只有私立

game for Lin. The Lakers let Lin play more of his game when he came in after
5 minutes in the first (either that or he just did it) and it looked
perfectly fluid with Kobe out there. We ran a lot more mix of high screens

发帖数: 8 | 32 无数的人都写过游SACRED VALLEY的路线，我就懒得写流水帐了。我们的路线是绕
SACRED VALLEY 一圈，从PISAC 开始，然后Ollantaytambo, 最后在Chinchero 看日落
。然后回到CUSCO。我就想到哪里就写到哪里。
购物狂
秘鲁绝对是喜欢手工制品人的天堂，手工刻绘的葫芦，彩陶的人偶，各色原石头项链，
彩色的织锦，当然还有细驼羊绒的时装。所以M在和JUAN排行程的时候，我在一旁不断
提醒印第安集市，印第安集市。开始JUAN说这个集市逢双才开，我差点都叫M改行程先
去马丘毕丘再回来游圣谷。
不料JUAN又说，集市是每天都开的，只是星期一是没有旅行团去的，所以不会那么热闹
。人少反而可以好好欣赏。这潜台词就是人少可以慢慢的讲价。
集市就在乌鲁巴巴河的河畔，山路蜿蜒而下的时候，在山腰就可以看见下面一片摊蓬的
顶。这一路上的风景极美，某几处竟然有几分像山峡风光。从小在平原长大的M不停让
车停下来走出去拍照。好容易到了集市，和我想像中的冷清景色大不同。还是熙熙攘攘
的人群。JUAN说，人很少了，赶集的日子车跟本就开不进来。

发帖数: 54 | 33 今天的计划是去圣谷，sacred valley。我们早就订好了去Sacred valley的one day
tour。我记得是早上8:30有车过来接我们。等到8:15拿出reservation一看，竟然是八
点。大家都大吃一惊，不会赶不上了吧。老板虽然不会说英语，也大概明白了是怎么回
事。于是试着给我们订票的代理打电话，可是怎么也没有打通。Holahola，老板在电话
里叫着，估计那边没人接听。我在计划着是不是要重新再找一家，也不知道还来不来得
及。
J走到楼底下，没想到正好碰上来接人的车，原来他们因为要接别人正好也耽误了几分
钟，虚惊一场。这个一日游的团包括去Pisaq集市，圣谷，欧雁台和chinchero，又是满
满当当的一天。
圣谷是一个巨大的绿色valley，从上面看是很壮观。周围都是贫瘠而没有任何作物的荒
山，但是山谷却是富饶的土地。然后上车到Pisaq，这里有一个半山腰的Hiking trail
。导游带着我们一路往上，越往高处走风越大。我边走边啃一根玉米，吃的还挺开心，
被A提醒说刚来看到煮玉米的锅里有只虫子，郁闷得我。这里的玉米确实和以前吃到的
不太一样，粒大而且很糯。 |

Cusco是曾经盛极一时的Inca人的都城，巨石垒成的基墙，千年不倒；神庙礼堂曾铺满
了真金白银。而今 Inca人留下的基石上是西班牙人带来的欧陆风格建筑，整个城市就
定格在几百年前，这大概就是很多人之前告诉我的Cusco城的魅力，very touristy,
but very nice.
从Cusco一路穿过Sacred Valley, 景色变的开阔，看到更多的废墟，更多的集市，这是
上Machu Picchu的铺垫。
看图片，Machu Picchu给人超现实的感觉；当它近在眼前，还是给人超现实的感觉。这

Sacred Valley area或马丘比丘那边都能自己作个大半天的徒步。。。你一定
要在那个“inca trail"的某段上走，马丘比丘上留多点时间去走也可。
头疼，呕吐，去之前吃了不少的红景天，都没有用；后来就好了，但是自己也还是觉得
空气稀薄，不敢像别人那样跑来跑去，我都是走着）。:( ,所以想是否做巴士或是车上

第一个方案，走Inca Trail，留充分时间给马丘比丘：
Day 0 到Lima
Day 1 Cusco - Sacred Valley
Day 2 Cusco
Day 3, 4, 5, 6 Inca Trail & machu picchu 住Machu Picchu
Day 7 Machu Picchu, Huayna Picchu, 回 Cusco
Day 8, 9 Lima
Day 10 鸟岛和Pisco，回Lima
Day 11 离境
第二种方案：兼顾Arequipa和Colca Canyon，不走Inca Trail
Day 0 抵达Lima
Day 1 Arequipa
Day 2 ,3 到Colca Canyon的两日游
Day 4 从Arequipa飞Cusco，Cusco城内
Day 5 Cusco - Sacred Valley
Day 6 坐火车去马丘比丘，宿Aguas Caliente
Day 7 马丘比丘，返回Cusco
Day 8, 9 Lima
Day 10 鸟岛和Pisco，回Lima

Trail-Lima。从Lima飞Juliaca基本下来就会多多少少有高反的，爬个楼梯就喘会头疼
，好处就是到了cusco一点事儿都没了。Sacred Valley挺不错的。 |

sacred valley是不是就是挨个去那些ruin呀？Cusco附近的Saqsaywaman,tambomachay
，puca pucare，然后Pisac，Moray？

Bill Donohue 发表声明。标题为“穆斯林应该愤怒”（MUSLIMS ARE RIGHT TO BE
ANGRY）全文如下：
公然以屠杀报复挑衅必须毫不含糊地予以谴责。在巴黎发生的事情是不可容忍的。但是
激发这起暴力事件的是查理周刊对宗教的不容忍，他们的行为同样不可容忍。
查理周刊有一个很长的令人作呕的历史。他们的行为远远超出了对公众形象的嘲讽。特
别是针对宗教人物。他们画修女自慰，教皇戴安全套，默罕默德摆出色情的姿态。
有些穆斯林反对描绘先知默罕默德，但有人并不反对。韩国的穆斯林就不禁止描绘先知
