发帖数: 9452 | 1 SandForce固态硬盘主控制器非常流行，但是在TRIM方面远比其它方案复杂。一般主控
都是直接向NAND闪存写入数据，接到TIRM指令就简单地清除无效数据、恢复性能，但是
SandForce使用了一个实时数据压缩、去重引擎(动辄550MB/s的读写速度就是这么来的)
，TRIM的时候必须检查数据是否被占用，否则可能会把系统关键文件给清理掉。
一系列测试证明，SandForce主控在TRIM的时候碰到不可压缩数据(比如一部高清电影)
就会栽跟头，从来都不能恢复初始性能。Intel SSD 520系列使用独有的固件进行了优
化，依然未能根除这一问题，因此根源可能出现在SandForce主控的硬件设计层面上，
不可能通过固件解决。
更要命的是，SandForce TRIM在可压缩数据(比如大量文本文件)上也出问题了。
SandForce 3.x系列固件没什么问题，但是新的5.0.0/1/2版本中(固态硬盘厂商自己的
版本号会不一样)，TRIM之后读取性能也恢复不上来。幸运的是，SandForce已经发现问
题并在测试新版5.0.3，一定程度上算是解决了，不过也付出了代价。 |

intel x25-m的持续写速度比较慢，只有100M/s，只有sandforce的一半。只有内容是压
缩过的文件，例如mp3, zip这种情况，sandforce的表现会比较差，但即使这样，持续
写还是和x25-m持平。

JMicron的没听说有什么故障率，但是和Intel比起来，我更倾向于让JM去接受时间检验

现在intel 530用的sandforce主控，应该没有这个问题。——是的，intel自己主控修
不好（或者说是懒得修），开始用别家主控。reliability？自然和其他也用sandforce
主控的ssd差不多，再加上intel的颗粒也不出色，根本谈不上优势 |

不过这两家的ssd controller现在都已经二流了。
intel，samsung，apple的pcie ssd 都已经大规模量产了，但是controller都不是
marvell 或者sandforce。
sandisk买了fusion io以后肯定也会搞自己的controller。 |

加密实际上根本达不到，这是主控架构的设计问题，固件更新解决不了，所以Intel愿意
为用户全额退货。AES-256不达标理论上对用户的加密性能并没有实质影响，对个人用户
来说加密SSD的情况更少见，更谈不上影响了。
即便对安全没有实质影响，但是这仍然是一个质量问题，以致于SSD厂商不得不出来给个
说法。
最早发现问题的是Intel，他们给出的解决方式是：7月1日之前购买520系列SSD的用户可
在今年10月1日之前提出全额退款申请。
根据之前我们贴出的Intel SSD保修原则，英特尔是对零售渠道的OEM渠道提供5年全球联
保，因此用户可以直接拨打800电话要求保修，已经有网友操作过的过程是（仅供参考）

Vertex2，原来32nm的是16片4GB的，通常都全部利用，换成25nm的就用8片8GB的，通道
只利用了一半。
另外据说它用的25nm的只有大概3k次的写寿命，32nm的是5k次。 |
