盖融化造成的海平面上升，加上摩天大楼的影响，上海面临的地陷危险变得更加严重。
上海同济大学海洋地质学教授兼中国科学院院士的汪品先在路透社全球环境首脑会议上
说，"海平面上升是全球变暖带来的世界性影响。但是，地面沉降使上海和天津成为中
国受到最大威胁的两个沿海城市。"
