She did not have obvious limb weakness.
What do you mean by "seizure"? 抽搐/癫痫？If so, she does not have it. But
some times (very occasionally, I would say less than 6 times a year in

I suggest you read something about multiple sclerosis, including patients'
own accounts of their symptoms. Be prepared that on her first visit to a
neurologist, a lumbar puncture is very likely to be done. Protein analysis
will be done in addition to routine analysis.

advanced imaging and lab studies are rarely needed for its diagnosis if the
history and signs are clear. it is strange that most "neurologists" in china
don't know how to make the diagnosis. most "neurologists" in china don't
know how to diagnose multiple sclerosis either. |

I assume you are young (20-40 yo).
I am worried you might have/develop multiple sclerosis. I strongly disagree
on your neurologist's opinion "没有大的问题". the radiologist had the right
suspicion, just not sufficient to meet the diagnostic criteria yet.
what does your neurologist's training background look like?
I would recommend you have repeat MRI of the head/brain in 1 -2 months. if
your neurologist refuses to order repeat MRI and insists there is nothing to

一切开始于今年农历新年。过年期间他发烧到三十八九度，连续几天。但仗着身体
好，他也没在乎，不看医生不吃药，该喝酒喝酒该开长途开长途。这样持续了近一周
时间，他的记忆开始出现点问题，偶尔大脑短暂宕机，随后快速发展到说话错乱，进
而陷入昏迷。紧急送到医院抢救，进行退烧，醒来后他记忆丢失了很多。医院检验了
脑脊液照了MRI，诊断为病毒性脑膜炎。于是开药，输液，打激素，休养，不到一个月
他就出院了，恢复情况似乎不错，记忆基本都恢复了，智力和逻辑也没问题，只是有
时容易觉得累，脑力不足，不能长时间用脑，另外味觉和嗅觉没有恢复。他逐渐开始
恢复工作，可是在这个过程中，情绪变得不稳，易怒易急躁，睡眠质量不高。在四月
底情况又恶化了，开始很严重的呕吐，无法止住，一顿饭吐十多次，真是无物可吐还
在吐，人变得很虚弱。到医院输液勉强止住了吐，但是他完全不能闻肉味，后来慢慢
有好转、但还是味觉和嗅觉有问题。他的情绪变化很剧烈，人经常感觉累。经MRI检
测，病灶区域又有扩大。这次，基本诊断为脱髓鞘的多发性硬化，英文是multiple

但是这个公司10/28号有个event，有phase IIb的临床试验要发布。看option 价位，股
价波动将会很刺激。call和put价位都贵的离谱。现在股价6.8.猜大的买7.5 的call差
不多到股价9才有赚，猜小的买5的put要股价4左右才会赚。
根据我的DD，这个phase IIb的结果会开大：
1. 这个phase IIb是用ibudilast治疗progressive multiple sclerosis （MS)。治MS
的market有二十个billion。Teva最近重创，就是因为它家4b annual sales 的MS药
copaxone有仿制药批了。
2. 这个phase IIb的主要end point是看病人脑萎缩的程度。ibudilast已经有一个
phase IIa，是用60mg dosage治疗一个相关的MS类型。phase IIa 和phase IIb enroll
的病人都是将近250。据我的DD，phase IIa的结果显示，这个药60 mg一年的减缓

好像当时医生说血指标有些inflammation,不过不严重。做了哪些测试，我也当时没关
注。记得以前进公司时有一次uric acid（可能是其它小便测试，忘了）有点高，让过
几天去复测了，正常。
去年还做了全身nuclear medicine的bone scan，和MRI一起确实有finding，说the mid
and medial thirds of the left clavicle exhibit diffuse hyperostosis and
abnormal sclerosis, 说left first anterior rib with contiguous ankylosis 也不
是很正常。
医生不知是什么回事，也没有下一步建议。

家乐一乐，顺便给 Multiple Sclerosis（MS) 疾病的研究和防治捐款 - 好像MS是一种
神经系统的不治之症，国内叫肌无力或肌萎缩什么的。
出发地点在 Saltbox Village in Cary - 就是三五南边的那个shopping center，估计
参加人数近千人。路线有63miles和35miles两个选择，大概是绕着Apex, Holly Spring
, Jordan Lake转一圈回到Cary。

Multiple Sclerosis（MS) 捐款 - 难道这边很多人患这种病？
出发地点在 Green Hope High School，路线是一直向西，越过Jordan Lake 后开始不
停地爬山上坡，直到到折返点原路返回。路程有31, 49和67miles三个选项。最远的那
个，折返点在Chapel Hill西边的Maple View Farm，听说是一个本地著名的“农家乐”
景点。
这个骑行活动有两个大卖点：
第一，每个车手都会得到一个贴在头盔上的计时芯片，路线上的Lystra Road，有一段
两英里长的连续陡坡，主办者会给爬这一段坡的选手计时，所有人的成绩都会贴在网上
，最快的人就是 King/Queen of the mountain。
第二，既然ride的名字叫Cup 'n Cone，自然少不了冰激凌啦。在途中的休息站和终点
，Maple View Farm会提供自产的冰激凌，Goodberry也会提供一些，管饱。

时间：七月四日早晨八点开始，午后结束。
地点：从Saltbox Village in Cary出发，绕一圈回来后在一个街区外的Hibernian
Restaurant & Pub in Cary（三五斜对面那个）结束。
路线：可以选择50公里和100公里两条路线。100公里的路线基本是从Cary向南到Holly
Spring，折向西穿过四处田园风光的Cape Fear River流域，再向北经过碧波万顷的
Jordan Lake，然后从穿过West Cary回来。50公里开始部分和100公里重合，中间一个
shortcut回来。
活动目的：
参加者最主要的目的就是have fun和打发独立日的假期时间。
这是triangle地区最大规模的一个自行车party活动，届时会有上千辆自行车参加，今
年因为独立日在星期四，估计会有更多的参加者。报名费和额外的善款将捐赠给
National Multiple Sclerosis Society。

他有十几年经验的神经内科医生，今天他给我电话，说我的病是多发性硬化multiple
sclerosis
该网友说：
本来bell's palse(也就是面瘫)根本不用去做MRI的，结果做了之后弄出这么一堆事来
，我脑干上那个Lesion有可能在我出生时就有了，良性，这次MRI我才知道自己有，要
不可能要等死的时候尸检才会发现，我一辈子都要与它和睦相处了 （我其实自己之前
有跟医生说这种可能性，印度神经外科手术医生直接就说不可能，肯定新长的，而且如
果是tumor，那个位置肯定恶性的），经常要随访。
我最应该看得医生应该是神经内科，他给我推荐了一个以前在协和工作的女医生，也有
十年以上神经内科的经验，我准备周一就去约。这回我觉得这个网友逻辑清楚，判断是
