I am in Oregon State and I can't check my score online. Oregon state only
mails the score to your home address. This morning I called Oregon CPA
office.
I passed FAR with only 76. so scary!!!

points away from others's vote, it needs to be justified.
if there are 25 members on the study section and only one voted 2 and 24
voted 1, you still get an average of 1.04 and a priority score of 10.
Do the assigned reviewers have more weights in the final score? I am not
sure, but I dont think so. I guess, most likely, when one of the assigned
reviewers gives 2 then many of other reviewers will start to think about

因子却虚高，比如Cell Research. 不过一时又没有其它可以替代的工具。不知道大家
有没有注意到其实Thomoson Reuters有个Article Influence Score，如果按这个排名
，似乎比较符合心目中的真实杂志水平。
比如 Cell Research 只有4.394 跟 Plos Biology的7.042 就不是一个水平了，虽然现
在前者的影响因子更高。
而且不少感觉影响因子虚高的杂志Article Influence Score就比较低，比如journal
of hepatology只有3.099， Autophagy只有3.244, 而两者的影响因子都是过10的，同
时elife却有6.134
见仁见智，大家讨论下? |

地位。
很多在不同领域里地位差不多的杂志，尽管因为领域大小的问题导致影响因子差别很大

information 出来。到RePort查了往年的funding success rate. 2013年 33%， 2012

目前计算p value，q value都没问题；但是还需要计算基因的foldchange来进一步过滤

score normalization。 如果是这样的话，你可以用这个每一个gene 的z值，作为表达
量，或者说是相对表达量。然后across sample做DE。
但是这个方法，不好，建议用别的cross-platform normalization |

send the another copy to the owner but will send it to any US university.
Could we ask ETS to send it to a university and then pick it from that
university? I doubt the university admission office will allow us to do that.

. I know the fact that I took the test toward the end of this reporting
period put me at a higher risk of falling into the 1-2% category of not

常精确滴估计你滴成绩水平。从偶论坛上考古滴成果，临考前周内NBME模考滴精确度一
般在+/-5分，如果多做几个form平均一下，准确度更高。偶看到滴差距最大的比实际分
数低10+分或者高10+分，但是没见过差距超过20分滴。所以考前一周内NBME模考分数基
本就是你的考试分数。如果想确保目标成绩，最好把NBME考到目标分数+10. 当然考到+
20，就几乎100%能达到目标分数了。
很多人选择做offline的form，由于没有feedback，所以无法精确评估自己的模考成绩
。这里有一个比较老的correlation chart，不清楚是哪个form的，但是在没有online
分数滴情况下，这个chart应该是最精确滴了。另外以下是偶在其他论坛上摘录的
NBMEform粗略估分法。

考分》240的大牛请绕道。智商》120的请绕行。
本人昨天考的CK。从头到尾，就是最后一个BLOCK做出了平时的感觉，其他全是梦游状
态。
为什么？题目太“非典”了。
本人背景：国内临床三年，去年6月起和两个小组分别过了MTB2,3。UW过了两遍。
KAPLAN CD， NBME OFFLINE 模拟能答对80%.UW平均70%，最后能上90%-95%
考试：1.罕见的病太多太多，而且鉴别诊断及其复杂。A病和B病，各有各的可能性，1
分钟之内很难下结论。大多数情况下我就只好闭眼选一个。比如VIPOMA 和GLUCAGNOMA
和类癌。
2.时间很紧。每个题目没有时间细细考虑。就这样，每个BLOCK就剩1-2分钟。也没法检
查。
3.常见病也不好好给你出题。一个题干很长，另外一个选项很不明朗。很明显出题的故
意浪费你的时间。

help for sure.
For PCAT my school add percentile for each section and come up a minimum
requirement. I think the average score for successful applicants is about
390. This is the sum of percentile for the first 5 sections, not the raw

Propensity score can only help you control known confounders, which means
you need to be confident that the variables you are going to use to create
your propensity score can sufficiently predict the selection into one of
your exposure groups. Instrumental variable does not have such limit.
However, it is very hard to find a good instrumental variable. In health
service research, there seems no existing guideline that can help you select
an IV.

missing patterns这些基本理论都一窍不通，那就会让HM生疑了。

company 的risk model 有10 个segments. 我在做strategy 时，能把它们的score/
probabilty 合在一起做，还是要分开在每个segment 上做。
我觉得应该分开做，然后在合到一起。因为PROBABILITY 只在它们所代表的ＰＯＰＵＬ
ＡＴＩＯＮ 上有效。但看到过去的一些ＳＣＯＲＥ CUTOFF 是合在一起做的。

I don't want to use something just like: winning%+tie%- loss%
ideally the score should range [0, 100] , the higher the value the higher
percentage of winning.
