candidates for onsite. The motivation for code screening is to save engineer
's time from doing too many phone interviews. It can be a lot when you have
to commit 1 hour every day for phone screen. The fact is that you usually
find out whether the candidate is good or not in 10min or less, but you have
the spend 45min or longer just because the company wants to give candidates
a good experience. |

备别的面试，他们就给我提供了phone screen，用hangout跟他们的一个工程师做了一
次technical interview. 过两天HR又follow up说后面要做第二个phone screen，也是
跟一个他们的工程师。因为我刚开始找工作，开始有面试，不知道这种startup通常要
做几次phone screen呢？他们好像工程师总共不到5个，难道是要跟每个工程师都做一
遍面试？还是说我直接onsite的话，这个面试过程会更利落一些，直接一天能搞定？这

发帖数: 16592 | 6 我家一个网screened porch，大概10.5X22那么大，从下到上是screened，大概高8或者
9尺。
感觉没啥用，想把它变成用那种透明的vinyl给screen起来，这样就没有rain，dust能
进来，再把现
在的水泥地铺一下，可以让孩子在里面玩。好像看到是安装那种panel，比较出名的是
Eze-breeze
的，但是好像要从frame开始安装。我现在有那种比较简单的铝的frame，然后就是从下
到上通顶的沙
网。
我看了一些介绍，如果reframe还有安装customized panel，加上人工，要4000以上。
我觉得能安成窗子固然好，但是如果不能变成那种可以开关的窗子，能简单全给封上，
不动整体结构，
比较简单，便宜，能在短期完成，也是不错的。
付上类似我porch的照片。
求教大家有什么好的建议啊？ |

发帖数: 616 | 8 几个月前纱窗被冰雹砸坏不少。本来打算去 Home Depot 买些窗纱自己维修。后来太忙
，就找 contractor 做了。
听说 solar screen 可以遮挡大部分太阳光。盛夏之时，可以降低室内温度。
contractor 提供两种规格 90% 和 80%。90% 的可以遮挡更多的阳光，孔眼较小。
我本来是订了 90% 的，后来担心太暗，就改成 80%。而且对于喜欢开窗换气的中国人
来说，孔眼大点通风效果也好点。
Family room 有一排落地窗，面向后院。由于有 covered patio，就没有换新的，仍然
用原来的 screen。
安装之后，发现 living room、kitchen 都明显变暗。因为原来的窗纱只是遮掩开窗的
部分，现在的窗纱则是遮掩整个窗口。因此透光率的差异就不仅仅是两种窗纱的差异了
。如果早知道是这般效果，就会跳过 living room 和 kitchen。现在先打算适应一下
。实在适应不了，就把原来的换回去。真是折腾。
如果有朋友打算换 solar screen，可以先在睡房试试。因为平时的生活区域一般不在

当时ultrasound 后医生说正常，然后抽了血，说这周会有结果。
拿到的结果是：screening测试之前的rsik 1/540
screening测试之后的risk 1/10000
不知道这个测试之前的意思是什么？ |

生都推荐孕妇做，自己如果不想做的话要签写waiver.
我的OB也让我做这个，就是包括 1st trimester screening(抽血+B超）和 2nd
trimester screening(抽血），化验Down syndrome等潜在疾病。

叫做first trimester screening, 包括B超和验血，在11-13周做

子血，谁知道事情还没有结束，今天去看ob，跟我说我之前做的血检和B超都白做了（
我是被发送到另外一个专业机构做的检查），检查方向错了，只确认了是否怀孕，没有
检查唐氏等参数。
现在我已经错过做first trimester screening的时机了，ob让我等做second
trimester的血检，气死我了，时间精力花了不说，最后没有结果。
上来想听听妈妈们的意见，我现在这种情况怎么办？考古结果好像second trimester的
检查准确率还没有first trimester的来得准，那是不是说干脆就直接做羊穿算了？ |

I think the procedure is routine. My OB ordered the test to the test center
, I called the test center to make an appointment by myself for the test
items and then check in to the test center with OB's prescription. After the
test, test center sent the report to OB's office. I checked the results
with OB.
Do not worry, usually they give combined results based on first trimester
and 2nd trimester screening. Althought you missed the 1st trimester one, 2nd

1. 我再给保险公司的询问信中，抄上了OB所附上的2nd tri screening的内容，然后保
险公司说不cover 所谓的genetic testing。莫非保险公司理解有误？
2. 2nd tri screening的确是我从OB给我的一张单子上抄下来的，还给我把这一项单独
勾出来，要我确认是不是会cover。同时值得注意的是，1st tri screening没有被圈出
来。

午回来查了一下，似乎screening是特指包括唐氏儿筛查在内的异常筛查？但是我查到
的网页和本版的精华区似乎都说第十一周以后才能做。我下周才到第七周，似乎是太早
了。想问问有人遇到过这种情况吗？我是否应该打电话跟OB确认一下是什么样的
screening? 第一次见OB，不想显得对她太不信任，所以想先上板上来问问。

羊穿是诊断方法，给出的结果可靠，但是取样品的时候会有流产概率，全国平均loss
rate 1/300, 具体到每个医生都不一样，除了流产概率，还会出现早产等其他问题，这
些问题也可能对baby健康有影响。
现在新出一个技术MaterniT21, 是抽血检查，没有什么流产的危险，从总的趋势看正在
取代羊穿
这些问题你可以咨询genetic counselor，ultra screen 和 MaterniT21可以在12周左
右做，羊穿一般在16-20周做，你拿到ultra screen 的概率和MaterniT21结果后再考虑
要不要做羊穿 |

insurance again. I had PPO, at the end I paid for it myself, although it
should probably have been covered. (More than a year ago, I remember bunch
of us asked each other here about the same topic.)
The problem was, I sent in my insurance info back with the bill/ invoice to
the screening program, later followed up with phone call every couple of
months, I was told two or three times by them that they sent claim to my

t410s可以选touch screen
但是有touch screen也不一定是tablet.
tablet是平板电脑。ipad就算是一种tablet.
x61t, x201t的屏幕可以旋转，算是convertible. 既可以当laptop，也可以当tablet.
t410s正常情况下没法当平板用.所以即使有touch scren,也只是laptop。 |

这两个都号称可以block 80% 到90%的光线，会让屋里暗些。
我最终是装了screen，没什么特别的原因，只是因为
tint window是固定在窗户上了，而screen可以拿下来
我家窗户也10年了，也许就快要换了
solar screen很便宜，大概50元一扇，包括安装
装好后凉快了很多，效果很明显，相信tint也有同样效果

置各种screen，不仅拳王的screen,有的是multiple screen, 肥顿会盘活整个球队，
melo的off ball play也很好，节省了不少体力防守是可以更卖力，当时连续大比分干
掉热火，特别第二场在melo缺席的情况下肥顿和拳王把屁肯肉演到及至，干掉热火。这
个应该坚持啊，
现在依赖melo 和j.r. 的iso太多，两个的game 稍微有点儿off,就很麻烦。其他人搞得
都很冷，特别是拳王。
烂泥的防守整个赛季都很solid。这个季候要是在进攻上平衡好，干掉热火不是梦。其

有没有用OpenSuse的大虾？我在KDE桌面下，点开始
菜单（蜥蜴头），选择电源按钮，里面有log out,
lock screen,power off 等等，一旦选择了lock screen，
这机器就完旦了，症状就是等logout之后，再想login进
入图形desktop, 机器慢得无法使用，几十分钟才能完
成login过程，然后点一下鼠标需要十几分钟才见反映，
非得重装操作系统。这问题我从10.1到13.2都中过招儿，重
装过不下5次。有没有人遇到过类似问题，可知道解决办法？

I want to be more specific on how I temporarily fixed the vertical stripes:

By "屏幕的不同区域" I meant the area that is near the bottom edge of LCD
screen and around the bottom end of vertical stripe. It's not referred to
various areas all of the screen.
Should it be interpreted as "某一个特定区域"?
So, would the problem be more likely with cable, or screen?
