发帖数: 2908 | 10 今天出去玩，路过一家audi dealer，难得他家有货，就去看了看。Q7的第三排座坐大
人是不用想了，坐两小孩还是可以的。看来如果非要真正的7座suv，只有GL可以了。座
位的事就无所谓了，反正早有心理准备。真正让我震惊的是，居然显示屏不是touch
screen的，我问小二那要输入地址怎么搞，小二说，那一排按键中间的那个可以转的钮
就是的，到时候屏幕上会有英文字母可以让你选。我靠这也太土了吧。其它的部分，外
型，内饰我觉得都不错，就是这个不是touch screen太不爽了。如果就买个裸车，不加
GPS，我也能接受，偏偏LD还说，如果要买豪华车，就一定要车载GPS+倒车摄像头，不
然免谈。。。
还有一个就是audi的dealer实在是太牛气了，现车是极少的，最好就是预定，三个月以
后拿车，discount是极少的，估计最多能msrp-1000，那就谢天谢地了。然后也没有好
的利率。这哪像有经济危机的样子啊，NND个熊 |

teaching经验很多，有teaching grant （小）
哎，其实我真的对自己还是蛮有信心的（没别的，就是相信自己是一定能找到工作的。
。捂脸），认识的很多人也觉得我很适合做老师，teaching school算是我比较想去的
地方了（没法子，好像不是很热爱科研。。。）
申请teaching school是不是local的申请者占便宜很多啊？screening时到底最看重什
么呢？我该强调什么东西最吸引人家呢？大言不惭厚着脸皮说总觉得过不了screening
这一关对我来说很亏，后面的根本没有办法展示。。。最近看的opening都是在其他州
（当然也不太远），总觉得本州的那些学校毕业的申请者因为千丝万缕的联系要近水楼
台很多呢。。。当然，我晓得只能控制我自己，这些外在因素不是我可以左右。。。可
还是觉得自己的条件真的很适合去那些地方啊。。。继续捂脸，想争取朝正确的方向努
力一下。。。

人的情况，我觉得我被他们选中有两点。一是算名校毕业的吧，teaching school不看
重你的publication，可是比较看重出身。二是我博士毕业后一时找不到工作，就在本
系做了一个学期的visiting instructor。其实我的工作性质类似TA，可是title好。简
历上突出了教学经历。他们一看有在名校做instructor的经历，自然加分。
有了这两个敲门砖，电面和onsite就看个人表现了。我也不是local的，挺远。我自认
口语还不错。当然如果screening不过关，这些都没法表现了。

常接近。
1〉开始会问些你的学历背景工作经历，犯罪纪律，是否要visa sponsor等，问题非常
routine，好像他们从来没看过你简历一样。
2> 会问到你的那些qualification related to this position
3> 4-5个behavior question, including teamwork, creative, flexibility,
frustrated experience等（ may need example）
4〉最后会问你有什么要补充的--可以趁机强调自己强项， 同时你有机会提问题，不过
他们也回答不了什么关于这个职位的问题，毕竟是外包公司。
一般这个screening 会有30-45分钟，有可能会安排到晚上和周末。你说的时候对方会
进行电脑输入。注意你如果用到很专业的词汇，他们未必听得懂或会问你怎么拼写。谈
话结束后面试你的人会写个简短评价，可能会关系到你是否进入下一轮跟hiring
manager的电话面试。

Development Engineer。
我真不记得有没有一轮HR phone screen了，有记忆的是做了一个coding exam，没有时
间限制回头发给他代码的那种。一个是实现atol，一个是写个Trinary search tree的
类，跟BST的区别就是多了个middle指针，存和本节点值相等的node，要实现insertion
, deletion，大概原理和BST差不多，照着CLRS改改就行了。。。github上有个现成的
代码，不过里面有好几处错误，不能直接抄。两题都是让用Java写的。11月初给我的题
，我12月才写。
约了今天下午phone interview，先是问了问简历，most exciting course and
project, 最困难的问题这类。
然后问Hashtable各种常规概念优缺点，然后就是问一个文件有2^32 - 4个不同数字，
要把这四个数字找出来。我说用Bitmap，通过set bit的方法数出现过的数字，O(n)时

event." I don't buy the fancy name, but wonder if doing this type of coding
is worse than going through the normal phone interview first? Anybody have

很喜欢的职位，面试的时候紧张，语速快，感觉经常说太快了舌头搅在一起了。。。面
试官是个国女姐，声音挺好听。。

两道题120分钟
第一题：旋转一个matrix，和lc不同，这里只用每个element顺时针旋转一个element
如果输入matrix不是n*n的正方形矩阵，则打印error
按照分层旋转的方法应该能做
第二题：输入一个matrix，判断每个元素横竖距离k内是否有重复
除了暴力n*n算法，没想出什么特别好的
顺便吐槽一下：亚麻的screen test竟然要求自己写console input的parser，我老重新
复习java仅仅是为了表达算法思想，n年没用过system.in／scanner这些东西了，于是
这回挂掉
