But both front and rear joints are all recessed. Only position I can stick a
hex key (for the screws holding the two together) is when the screw is at
the lowest position. The special tool use by Volvo looks like a half circle
fork with a dent on the tip of each arm so that it will bite two screw head
when you place it onto the joint, so that one can apply counter-force when
loosening the screws.

do you have manuals? It should have complete descriptions.
usually there is a bleeding screw
on thermostat housing. it is a small bolt with a hole
at the center.
open it slightly. add coolant into radiator until
no air bubble comes out and you can see steady coolant
flow down from the bleed screw.
tighten the bleed screw to 6-7ft*lbs, or slightly with
a 3/8 rachet.
open heat lever in your car to HOTEST, with radiator
cap open, run engine until it warms up (wait fo |

真是叫脏。黑的不像样子。赫赫。
步骤嘛，基本上和adven等等做的一样，对角进行。
为了撑车，借了朋友的jack stand，同时也有他帮忙。:)
有几个小trick可以介绍一下。
首先就是用vaccum pump。那玩艺真的管用。拧开了
bleeding screw以后，套上管子，然后吸真空，用一个
专用的瓶子接着。不过当时比较土，没有注意连结口。
装反了。结果把brake fluid吸到了pump里面。:(
最后才看到上面一端有一个大大的to pump字样。
(如果没有vaccum pump的话，可以让一个人在里面
踩闸，别忘了垫一块木头在下面，别踩过了，否则
伤了master cylinder，也有的痛苦)
下来就是，一定要用antz提到的grease，teflon tape
之类的东西，把bleeding screw的周围堵住。就是
轻轻的抹上一圈，这样的话，就不会有空气从螺纹的
缝隙里面进去。赫赫，adven就是没有用这个方法，才
导致看到了那么多的小气泡在里面，而且肯定不敢
把bleeding screw拧的比较开。那样的 |

2，踩刹车的过程中bleeding screw是拧紧的还是松开的？感觉你描述的是踩的时候
bleeding screw是拧紧的，然后松开刹车，拧开bleeding screw后，靠系统内部的压力
将brake fluid压出来，这样基本可以避免进入气泡。 |

general, engine air filter is easier to change comparing w/ cabin AC filter.
Engine air filter requires taking a few screws out from the air filter box
first. For some cars, it's even simpler as they are metal clips instead of

其实也不是真的滑头了，可能我的allen key有点软和变形了，hold不住，拧不动。顺
时针拧可以完全卡住，逆时针就有点滑，我也没有敢乱来
现在我打算：
1）换一副allen key试试
2）用大一点的torx socket + impact driver
3）上Grabit的screw extractor
or 4）上普通的screw extractor，需要用锤子敲打然后用扳手拧的那种
谁有经验？什么样子的顺序是最优的？因为如果一开始就上screw extractor，估计就

I took the broken bolt out using a flat screw driver. Got the idea from
another site. It's not hard at all to turn it using a screw driver however
it was not easy as I had to get under the car to do it. It took me for about
an hour to get it out. BM please mark this post to warn others. Can't trust
torque wrench. Lesson learned. |

为有些生锈，而且他们把右边caliper上的一个screw弄断了，说生锈了，去其它任何地
方都会弄断。我想换caliper，但他们要价不低：原价总共是$950,但由于他们把screw
弄断了，给打了折扣。打完折扣，front caliper 每个$160, 两个$320; 人工费两小时
$330; 换完caliper就需要$650. 但我感觉这个价格还是太贵了，求下大家的建议怎么
做。
dealer提供的options：option1:screw断了，只是外边部分没了，里面那部分还在，车
可以不换caliper开走；下次再换；
option2:只换右边那个caliper；
option3:两个都换；
我是想两个都换，但看来不能找honda dealer。找其它车行没经验，求下建议先。谢谢。 |

： 内径上？因为coil外面是光光的，而放coil的plenum底侧内部有一圈水平的沿，这

Plenum不是顶在coil的底层，而是与coil 外面会有1/2 寸的重叠，这样就可打螺丝固
定。
Furnace 上的两个空是派其它用处的，不是用来打孔的。
只要在这个水平位置都可打螺丝，但正面不行。
基本上所有品牌的Cased Coils 正面都不能打孔。
不知道我说的你有没有理解。
这种 self-drilling screw 是给heavy gauge 用的，只有那些做装修的，或搞不明白
的 师傅才会:用这种。
就你那个情况，如果用这螺丝，有两个缺点，1）定位较麻烦。2）打入后容易打滑。
你需要使用的是Zip-in Screws 或Self-piercing screws.(1/4” Head)

so use of nails is necessary simply because screws will fail in that
application (and are required by building code).
