Sunflowers got strong roots, and shouldn't be started in a pot. Now the
growth is already stunted, there is little you can do to reactivate it. Well
, conventionally, you can try scratch off some roots before planting into
soil, but the root ball is so small, that might kill the seedling anyway.

If it's a distinct variety, yes, the seedling from the seed will be similar.
But if it's a cultivar, then desirable characteristics can only be
maintained by propagation.
Take Bing Cherry as an example, do you know that all Bing Cherry trees
actually come from the same one Ah Bing once cultivated? If you plant a Bing
cherry pit, you won't get a Bing Cherry.
With that said, there are still a few fruits with nice varieties, like Kiwi.

Best luck, since what's done is done.
For others, peppers and tomatoes are better off if you start seedlings in
house. They don't know what's transplant shock at all :)
Even if you had to sow directly, sow them into garden soil. From a plant's
point of view, mulch is not soil yet. |

you use damp paper towel, the seedlings must be transplanted at the first
sign of white tips. |

southern FL.
Now is the best time to plant the tree. The root ball is easy to collapse.
You may want to cut the pot away instead of pulling the seedling out of the
pot.

marketed as a Crabgrass pre-emergent preventer. It will also prevent grass
seeds from germination so if you use it when planting grass from seeds, you
won't get any grass!
You may argue that sods are grass that have already germinated, so it wouldn
't be that bad. However, Pendimethalin (as well as many other pre-emergent
herbicides) also has early post-emergent function and it may inhibit

free shipping. i started from 10 seeds this spring and got eight seedlings.
they all survived. But i only got one flower for this summer.
they need bigger container to grow. the ones in the bigger grew very well
with bigger leaves and bloomed in the first year. But the ones in the
smaller container grew not as well as the ones in the bigger container.
Easy to grow and less care to require. |
