Friend told me that I should not look for the review of the medicine online
because every medicine has bad side effects. However, the info online is
very scary. People who took it claim depression, feeling cut off from the
world, irritation, a total change of personality, memory lost, feeling of
electrical shock, joint ache etc. And once one is on the medicine, cutting

目前怀疑是7天前打得疫苗MMR（还有DTap，水痘），可是当时打针后的那个晚上就烧过
了，转天也好了。或者是细菌感染，但是没法抽血，不能确认。
不知道为什么一定要抽静脉血。像孩子现在这么不舒服，见了针管、病房就害怕的，该

I'm a pharmacist. I can only answer drug-related questions. And, even if

the normal population (kids). ED management depends on whether it is a
benign, simple febrile seizure or a complicated one. The kid's age plays an
important role too. If somebody is < 6 month old, I won't call it a febrile

This is a class of very dangerous drug, and should only be used under
supervision by a neurologist. Most primary care doctors will not feel
comfortable prescribing these medicine. Different type of seizure uses

information I re-wrote.
1. Febrile seizure usually occurs in children younger than 6 year old.
2. If the patient has status epilepticus (持续抽搐, continuous seizures or
intermittent seizures without neurological recovery), it could be a special
subtype of febrile seizure, called febrile status epilepticus. Most ED

2. seizure duration for children at this age.
3. fever and high WBC count but no other abnormality? this only means the
right place hasn't been looked at.
4. drug response: unless phenobarbital was used there is no explanation to

Avoid high temp!!
Said 3% of all baby.
But most will recover after 5-yr old.
Possible long term damage if last > 5min.
More severe if it is a focal-type, i.e. uneven seizure from left/right sides
of the body, eye tile etc.
May track family history...
Said if happened again won't consider as febrile seizure.

1.脑电波解读
我把脑电波图像上传了，有没有哪位大侠能够帮忙解析一下？医生只说异常，到底有多
异常？另外，脑电图是不是很准，会不会和做检查时环境以及小孩情绪相关很大？
脑电波我不会看，但应该和情绪没关系。
2.是否一定是癫痫？
医生根据孩子父母描述的临床症状和脑电波检查，确诊为癫痫。不知道这个结论是不是
太武断？
不觉得武断啊，seizure和epilepsy的诊断主要就是靠临床症状和脑电图。
有没有可能医生因为经济效益或者其它原因，故意把问题严重化？
当然不能100%排除，可是不觉得医生能从中得到多少好处。不放心就找second opinion
，但我一般认为应该对医生有一点最基本的信任。
可以想像当父母的刚听到这种慢性病的诊断时的心情。不过癫痫是可以用药物控制尽量
不发病，而且这么小的孩子很有可能会慢慢grow out of it,几年后可以试着减少剂量
或者停药。不治疗的话，频繁的发病会有可能损害到神经系统，伤害更大。
3. 如果是癫痫，如何治疗？
医生说应该尽早治疗，开了抗癫痫药物，是比利时UCB Pharma S.A.生产的

一个神情极其严肃的中年男人不一会儿来到两口子身边，自我介绍是神经科的
Attending，并简单向两人陈诉了他的考虑；鉴于孩子的这种现象，他觉得快速做一个
全身的深层扫描是十分有必要的，在这种时候，相应的辐射量已不应当在担忧的范围之
内，现在要知道Seizure 的来源和如何去快速控制它。
陈进夫妇和医生快速交流之后，便有一组CT和一组MRI的人员进来，推着那种带着轮子

为他们图轻巧而以，今年我们这里有3个prelim neurology的intern,我们跟他们开玩笑
将stop dumping shit to us next year.
1.这个月我们有个seizure病人，因为负担不起seizure meds,seizure发作，neurology
拒绝收病人，我们通过sw,最终找到药商可以提供免费药物。
2.还有个病人L MCA stroke是neuro的病人，不到两天病人就bounce back了，因为家属
不愿意照顾病人，neuro拒绝收病人，说这是social issue,言外之意这是你们的事，和
我们无关。
3。最可气的我有个病人从小就有seizure,admit with AMS,我们cosult neuro，因为pt
有hyponatremia,他们说可能是CPM,可我们告诉他们我们并没有给sodium呀。过了几天
他们也没有给出啥好主意，就sign off了。我发现病人常爱swing her right arms.刚

pt had 24h continous EEG, no evidence of seizure, keppra d/c
too agitated to MRI, had repeated CT, showed more defined subacute left
thalamic CVA (sorry, don't know how to upload the image)
her speech improved, she is oriented, and able to speak simple word, such as
her name, and answer simple questions
the reason that neurologist started on keppra is because he thought the
aphasia, lethargy and facial droop was likely 2 nonconvulsive complex
partial seizure.

The real question of the case, in my opinion, is DDz of focal seizures. It's
not uncommon for focal seizures, usually partial motor seizures to be first
presentation of HONK. And for a new onset of focal seizure metabolic cause
should always be ruled out first because they are easy to do and easy to
correct and then change outcome quickly, no matter if the patient has
relevant history or not.

seizure. Most of them will resolve when child gets older. The most important
thing is to control fever - give tylenol/motrin aroud the clock whever she
develops a cold. However, if it occurs very frequent, some pediatric
neurologist will give anti-seizure meds for a few years then stop it. You
should consult a pediatric neurologist. |

seizure这玩意儿还真不是吃不吃退烧药那么简单的，

发帖数: 200 | 40 我家小宝现在2岁4个月 ，已经有2次seizure的经历，都是因为发高烧引起的。
第一次1岁半左右，突然发烧，我们都没有怎么注意，他就过去了，眼睛上翻，手脚痉
挛，失去知觉 ，不呼吸 ，大该 过了1-2分钟 才过来 。我们打了 911， 到了医院 ，
一量，105度， 后回家 ，也是发了 好几天的高烧，外公外婆爸爸妈妈几夜没睡看着
，motrin and tylonol 轮流 ，加上物理降温， 3-4天后， 退烧 ，身上出了红色疹子
， 应该是玫瑰疹。
这次是2岁2个月的时候，早上觉得他有点发烧，蔫蔫的，给喂点tylonol,我们都去上班
了，然后公婆打电话说小宝有抽了，好几分钟后自己过来了，我们赶紧回家， 喂药，
下午了 时候 ，他又来了一次，这次比较短，很快就过来了。然后 911，去医院，测量
各个方面 ，除了高温，其他都正常，回家后，吃药，1天后好了，具体什么病毒也不知
道。
小宝半岁回国， 1岁半带回来 ，到现在 ，在美国只生过2次病，每次都发高烧，with
seizure. 1岁前在国内也老感冒啊， 咳嗽什么的， 可是从来没有过 seizure。我每次
都心惊肉跳，全身发抖。 |

我有个同学的女儿就是这样子烧坏的。
没有发生在自己身上就偷笑吧，医学本身就是个概率问题，拿个例说事，就是民科。
另，高热惊厥发生第二次要查全面彻底。。。。。楼主怎么不反过来想一下，人家孩子
发热怎么不seizure,你家两孩子怎么都seizure呢。 |

癫痫好像不是seizure,发病的状态是seizure，但别的病（原因）也会导致seizure。 |

year research agenda for vaccine safety, the agency said on its website.
The CDC will also study mitochondrial dysfunction and the potential risk for

过来简短的和夫妇两人打了招呼，自我介绍了一下他叫Todd，然后开始沉声指挥着所有
的小组成员。
几名护士迅速的把孩子转送到了另外一个完全独立的病房，小小的Crib 上铺垫的软软
的，上面的热灯开着，天花板上也是垂着几个不知名的仪器，旁边有单独的一个Nurse
Station。
孩子的身上贴满了监测的小贴，指尖上连着小红灯的脉测，垂下来的屏幕上可以随时看
到各种数据，在这种地方，Nothing Will Be Missed。
Todd和另外2名医生再次检查了孩子身上的Access，觉得没有必要增加风险重新扎一针
，便让护士再次Secure了一下，开始Order 药剂；一种是控制Seizure的，另一种是止
住脑部出血的，由于孩子太过幼小，剂量的控制非常的Tricky，只能很少很少的一点点
加，但是这样的话有Delay 的数据并不能给医生太大的帮助，那么比较可靠的便是医生
的经验和现场的便携式的扫描器的即时数据。
Tube 里的液体一滴一滴的走着，房间里静悄悄的，所有的目光都停留在孩子的身上；

first aid没学过，我倒是很想去学学CPR什么的，应该是很有用

表现，但像你说的spo２ drop 就可能是在seizing.
吃seizure 的药可以控制症状，但seizure的原因则有很多种。 |
