纸上谈兵的文章都说的头头是到，SOA啦， loosed couple啦。
可是具体到真正的coding上，要consume一个web service.你要加web reference吧，
这个是compiler time的事。也就是说code development的时候就要知道web service
的location和signature. 这怎么能叫loosed couple?
web service应该包括discovery机制。但现有产品有没有能做到dynamically
discover web service的？ |

1.这辆车被别的买主定了，拿车的时候发现有问题，不要了，dealer自己把车修好
2.这辆车被dealer弄坏了，自己"vehicle service"把车修好
3. 这辆车就是有小毛病。
lz第一次买车很谨慎，又是女生特别怕被坑，希望大家能帮我看看，出出主意，谢谢了！
疑问：
1.那个"vehicle service"是什么意思？为什么新车会有service？"service"的内容会
包括修车么？
2. "washed/detailed" 啥detailed?干什么？
3. 最后一个Battery/charging system/starter checked，为什么有这些？
lz查了很多其他新车，最多最多只有一个“pre-delivery inspection”,其他这3项更
是没有在新车上面见到过了。

36kmiles的全面保修马上到期了，有问题的话还可以找Nissan。
1：Altima启动时Service Engine Soon闪了一下
两周前我发现发动引擎之后，Service Engine Soon闪了一下，然后就消失了。上周开
始Service Engine Soon不消失开车的时候一直在。今早去dealer看了一下，reprogram
之后Service Engine Soon不会一直在，但是发动引擎还会闪一下。dealer说这是在做
自检，没问题。但是我记得刚买车的时候是完全没有这个信息的，而是一个发动机的图
案闪了一下。
2：从DMV回来之后发现车前底部有一块板在拖着地走，dealer说一个螺丝的底座坏了，
要修的话要把整个板换掉，目前帮我暂时固定好，应该没有问题。我要求保修，但是
dealer一口咬定是底座碰到什么东西，然后坏了，不是自然损坏不能保修。怎么破？

对 service 只字不提，其实我觉得这是一个误区。
我们系刚刚评上 tenure 的一个老师对我说 service weighs more than we think
it does. 我个人很同意。这个分量不像 research & teaching 那么容易量化，
除非简历上自己 service 那一块基本空白，这种情况绝对会对自己不利，很容易
成为把柄被 deny 掉。这就是人们常说的，it won't help you, but it will hurt
you.
我觉得service 的分量很大一部分是潜在的。我 annual review的时候系主任的信
上曾经提过我在这方面的一个发展方向是争取在 professional associations中
担任个职位 (secretary, committee member, 甚至 division chair/vice chair
之类）当时我觉得有点惊讶，觉得这个要求也很高，后来跟他聊起来他说这种
职位主要是有利于帮 |

js结合太紧密，而前端工程师多数不习惯用强类型语言。
从公司的角度来说常常会把UI实现叫做前端team, 包含了你所说的server端JSP。而所
谓后端team就是提供API，有用json 的，有用thrift的，基本取决于公司现有架构和
product owner的喜好。
另外我的个人理解是后端service一般指API层，前端service指Web service，JSP那套
。单说前端才是说的HTML/JS.

我朋友一直和这个billing service compnay关于账单问题保持紧密的联系。现在第二
个保险还没有报下来，这个billing service compnay就催着赶紧交第一个保险没cover
的1000多块钱。
另外，和这个billing service compnay就分期付款一直谈不拢，billing service
compnay一直坚称必须每个月至少付100刀，否则就送collection。替朋友问一下，这种

有一定工作经验的professional完成这个service大概是8个小时，按照$40/hr的pay的
话，成本应
该是$320，
那么如何估计其它的一些运营成本呢，比如说是员工的福利，办公室租用，文具电脑，
以及行政等等？
假设startup的小公司，共八人，一名老板，三个个技术负责人（其中一个IT，两外两
个各管技术一
块），一个行政/secretary，HR等，三个work bee.
就单个员工来考虑，最后吧两者加起来再加上多少percentage的markup然后charge客户
比较合理
呢？

Services， 猪头不知贪哪门子便宜，用USPS Priority-2 Day的方式寄给了第二个地址
（Express Mail/Courier Services)，包裹两天前就显示delivered，但现在USCIS还
没有更新online status，说收到了。
打电话去USCIS问，说让我等15-30天，如果没更新再打电话。30天，是不是在搞笑。又
不是要求批，只是要求他们老人家收到回复了，上网说一声收到要那么久么。
我主要担心，邮件是不是投送到错误的地址。USPS Priority-2 Day 算 Courier
Service吗？ 如果不算，就该寄到那个P.O.Box地址，而不是Express Mail/Courier
Services的地址了。寄错了我赶紧再Express一份就是了，又怕他们被两份相同的材料
给惹怒了；还是不必纠结，慢慢等那帮老爷哪天心好就给更新了。

我两年半以前住过的apartment的地址，昨天收到sherriff of cook county关于
standby jury service的信，说这个月底要到downtown 的一个court履行jury service
.(因为现在一个朋友住在我以前这个apartment,所以他收到寄给我的信就拿给我了）。
我是F1,而且是没有SSN的那种，不知道不履行这个jury service的义务行不行。还有，
我已经搬离这个apartment的地址两年半了（但是现在还是在cook county),我理论上是
可以说我根本没有收到这封jury service的信的，所以想问一下可不可以干脆不理它？
