shimano, Pearl Izumi, northwave, Bont), none worked. went to LBS today to
check out their S-works. totally impressed. so much lighter and much better
fit than the low end sidi I am wearing now. basically choosing between
genius 6.6 mega and the s-works now. same price. but probably s-works. even
though it's not as durable and high quality as the 6.6, it fits well and is
super light.

I did my first gym climb today in these shoes. I had to take them off
between climbs. They hurt my feet almost the entire time I had them on.
I rented before I bought these.
Should they hurt this much when you first wear them?
I read they will get better as time goes on but how uncomfortable should I

Actually it has been a long yet unsolved debate about which kind of shoes
are better for running, with ideas ranging from high supportive shoes to
minimalists with a thin layer under the feet to even barefoot. I think
the good way is to try them out, and see which types are suitable for you.
In your case, since you don't like those thick shoes, just go for some
thinner ones and be vary careful about how you feel after running a while

cushioning. I need at least cushioning at soles or even underneath the
front feet. Not sure if this is a good idea. I think sometimes too
much cushioning just makes running more tiring and slows you down. My
understanding is that with more cushioning, when you hit the ground, the
cushion compresses and then bounces back. The whole process takes time
and neutralizes some of your forces.

没穿过character shoes，看你上面引文好象也可以替代ballroom的鞋练习。
有次去问穿什么鞋上Argentina Tango，老师推荐了character shoes。
我也见过一个ballroom的女老师穿你前面照片上的那种practice shoes。据说好处
是它比一般 ballroom的鞋结实耐用，但因为没有跟，穿着的感觉和ballroom的鞋不
太一样，可能你转换到ballroom的鞋的时候会需要一些适应。我前不久试过一双，
感觉用来做其他舞蹈练习的鞋比较合适，可以崩脚尖... :) |

I had a pair of pumas, and they were too narrow for my feet. If you don't
need a fireproof dedicated track shoes the Sparco 77 is pretty nice.
Now, if you want something cheap, more practical all around shoes, the
Converse chuck Tylor is great! Make sure you get the right size so they can
fit snugly. |

find the best deal on a pair of black nike shox. They are listed for $68.99
and when you apply the coupon code "HOLIDAYS" it knocks of 10% bringing it
down to @ $62. The next lowest price (for same color and model) on google is
$114.99.
The site offers free shipping for orders over $75, so I ordered two pairs.
There are lots of other good shoes on sell if nike shox aren't your forte.
