前院有块空地，估计是前房主在那里补种的百慕大草，那一片全是百慕大，贴地皮走很
长一段，看到了，草拔掉，根扎的很深，除不了根。 不割的话，能长到水泥地上，窜
到SHRUB的地方，长的到处都是。用ROUND UP杀了，是杀不干净。过一段时间，百慕大
又长出来； 只能翻土，翻土也要翻一巴掌深，才能把根都挖出来。即使这样，即使看
着枯黄干了的草根， 只要留在土里，你浇水一多，也能看到一些长出新芽。所以除了
，再浇水，再除，就差不多了。 |

长出来的，没人种它
我们这边做PRIVACY TREES最流行的是ITALIAN CYPRESS,可以长很高都还是直直向上，
不会东倒西歪的老需要TRIM什么的。缺点是树本身比较瘦窄，树与树之间肯定有距离，
不可能像一堵墙那样把你的PRIVACY遮得严严实实。
如果你想要邻居什么都看不到那种的，估计得搞SHRUBS，比如JAPANESE BOXWOOD之类的
，长得特别密，要定期修剪的。 |

买房的时候特意做了plot plan，自己的property都在自己地上，
搬进来后发现本应该是直线的边界，被邻居家的后院侵占进来大概2个feet左右（总面
积大概40 sqft的样子,两家后院之间有共享的fence，final workthrough时候问了list
agent，说这个fence应该是我们建的）。如果不是邻居家侵占，也就是我家前院的草地
有一小块是他家的(我家草地边上是他家的铺好的driveway。但根据plot plan的比例，
他家侵占我家地的概率要大些，但plot plan没有法律效率，大家觉得有必要做
property survey吗？除了占地，还要把前院围起来，现在都不知道该围到哪里，也不
知道边界上的树和shrub是他家的还是我家，现在当我家的天天给他浇水了。

自我防范和自我保护，甚至拿这个向国内炫耀，这毛病一定要改。美国最可怕的地方就
是歹徒都有枪！入室偷窃入室抢劫这种事虽然很少发生，但一旦发生可能就要了命，不
仅仅是财物的损失。
我来聊聊我自己是怎么自我保护的吧。希望对大家有点启发。
首先是绝不露财。我家里的shade晚上永远是关着的。平时开车进车库后，我总是先关
车库门，再下车搬东西。如果买了比较值钱的家电，我肯定不会把包装箱放在垃圾桶旁
等人收走，而是自己开车丢到垃圾站去。我有个朋友不久前买了台70寸的大平板，结果
没过一星期就被人破门而入搬走了，这就是个教训。
我的大门都是那种厚实木的，都有deadbolt，而且每扇门还配有security bar（如果你

以前在国内总听说谁谁去磨皮，皮肤就特别特别好了，以为是很神奇的东西。最近去美
容院做了后，觉得过程挺简单的，跟lz碰到的仪器一样，也是有个带吸力的磨砂小头，
磨着也不疼（我pain tolerance比较高，比如国内中学打预防针，别的女生就直叫唤疼
死我了，我觉得就针了一小下-_-'）。之后摸摸皮肤挺软和的，很欣喜。决定啥时候打
折的时候也搞个仪器自己弄弄---美容院长期承受不起，估计会比平时自己用shrub搓搓
效果好点#^_^#
打算仪器搞个可以换头的，然后买俩头，因为我们家那位年轻的时候长痘，现在脸上有
很多小坑，有义务帮助他除一除，不知道microdermabrasion对坑有用不:) |

日子过得飞快啊，眼看冬天就要过去了，该为新的一年春耕做准备啦。 去年收获的种
子，有的失败了，比如莴笋，收获甚微，也有的收获颇丰，不知大家有没有需要的。
----蔬菜种子----：
每份种子价格2刀，可以分享的种子包括：
1 免邮费类：雪里红，北京圆茄子，荠菜，割茬茴香，韭菜，冬瓜，苋菜，中国
芹菜。 还有少量莴笋籽富裕，不知还有没需要的同学。
2 需要加3.5刀（邮局又涨价啦，信封类的 package要3.50 啦）邮费类： 白长豇
豆，架豆， 黄色小糯玉米，花糯玉米。
北京圆茄子，冬瓜，豆类，每份30粒，可以分10份
割茬茴香，每份50-60粒，可以分20份
糯玉米，每份30粒，可以分20份
其他小粒种子都是一小勺，数不清多少粒啦。

Shrub挖了搬走，有些需要修剪一下。后院不大，1000square feet左右。前院有几个木
头大花盆，也需要这个gardener移走。请推荐办事靠谱，收费合理的gardener！！！当
然价格合理，也可考虑以后的定期维护。
房客表示有个木头百叶窗拉不下来了，还有很高的前门门灯需要调换，可能还需要帮忙
清一下烘干机出风口。其实我自己都能干，就是人不在没办法。我觉得这个也不需要费
多少时间，谁有认识的handyman推荐一下。

以下是他给我们的list：
1,（$240）Move out cleaning (standard 1500 sq ft/3bed 2 bath with window

过几次，让他找人来处理，怕掉下来砸到人，他也一直不弄，现在就来扣我们钱了！
