yes, you do need to make sure all outdoor faucets are properly winterized
you can't make that assumption. each outdoor faucet may have its shutoff
valve. For example, I have 4 outdoor faucets, only one of them is an anti-
freeze faucet. All of them have separate shutoff valves. it is quite easy to
identify the valves, just walk backwards from where the faucet exits the
basement. |

晚上发现主浴室的水变小了, 怎么办?
所有其他地方的热水都正常, 包括紧挨着的jetcuzi, 和 sink, 全部都正常, 其他浴
室的也正常, 把这个浴室的shower head,拆掉, 还是水流很小, (冷水的水量很大, 热
水的大概只有冷水的20%), 这是什么问题? 能自己修吗? |

use better oil than the castrol 5w40 Audi dealer often uses. use Mobi11 0w40
or Pennzoil 5w40 instead.
2.
the oil consumption issue is mostly limited to the 2.0T engine found mostly
on the base models before 2012. I rarely see report of 3.0T burn oil
including my own.
3.
the oil consumption issue is especially bad in China because of the low fuel
quality. Always use high quality 91/93 Shell, Exxon, BP etc.

UTICA BOILER MODEL# MGB175HD, 去年夏天搬进来时feed valve TACO 329前面的shut-
off valve是关着的，一直没有动过。冬天一月份拍了温度和压力的图，最近感觉
baseboard heating line有水进了气的哗哗响。发现boiler不烧的时候基本没有压强，
烧起来
压强高点但是也比一月份低，不烧了又低下去了。另发现air separator出口沾着少量
水。baseboard和墙周围没有发现漏水迹象。
问题：1. 我是不是应该打开shutoff valve补水？ 2. boiler的压力是不是由
expansion tank调整的？温度高里面空气热起来压力就高？ 3. 因为expansion tank 体
积不大，不需要失去多少水就会导致水压下降很多？
贴图由上到下: 第1是一月份照片，不清楚当时是不是在烧；第2.今天Boiler没烧时照
片；第3.烧热起来；第4. 不烧了在冷却过程中。
