I read a book about a Polish man who, as a boy, was sent to Siberia during
the 1940's, when Poland was being invaded by the Nazi regime as well as the
Soviets. The man who authored the book was the Polish man's doctor, who
knew what he had been through as a child, and though it was difficult to
coax the story out of him, really dug into why certain bad actors in that
war did what they did.

几乎所有的lift都运行。玩了两天，主要集中在KT-22和Siberia Express。KT-22确实
不错，不过skiing magazine称之为"the best chairlift in North America"是不是太
夸张了？难道Colorado和Canada没有更好的？
个人更喜欢Siberia Bowl，去年去的时候Siberia Bowl有很多moguls，这次去的时候几
乎没有，moguls到底是怎么形成的？天然的还是人造的？风吹的还是滑的人多了形成的
or地形就那样？KT-22上的GS bowl什么还是不敢玩，saddle比较平易近人，east face
没敢直接下，而是从旁边的east face gully下的，去的人很少，fresh powder一堆一
堆的，有一定的坡度但还可以handle，滑起来比较有挑战性而且很有趣。 |

但是中国古代没有这个复杂的技术，只会造单一的拱，如拱桥，而当时大型木建筑必须
靠大柱子来支撑，但是柱子多了，还是造不出大教堂那种巨大空旷的穹顶，因为下面有
一堆柱子立着很难看，不实用。像大型的太和殿，室内也是不得不立上柱子。
所以中国的柱子支撑的木结构屋子不会建的特别大。
