昨天开车的时候，在一个岔路口（有stop sign,我是在主干道上开车没stop sign)不到
20米的地方一个小黑孩旁若无人的骑车冲了出来，看那速度根本在stop sign前没停，
幸好我猛踩刹车按喇叭，总算没撞到小孩。
后来想想，幸亏我反应快车速也很慢（45mph），不然小孩早上西天了。
这里有个问题，要是我正常行驶不超速，努力踩刹车（in good faith）但还是把小孩
撞死了，我需要负责吗？（民事赔偿或者manslaughter之类的过失杀人罪）？

车约1~2分钟，见sign只是被放倒，并无损坏以及其它物品损耗，遂开车离开去
shopping。晚上回家把sign放回原位。以为事情了结。
回家发现学校校警留了名片要回电话，按要求打过去，问之何事，当值警察答曰不知，
让我们明天找留名片的警察谈。
周日早晨被敲门声吵醒，原来警察找上门，搞了半天是因为speed limit sign的事，我
说是俺撞的，俺把sign给竖起来。被告知我停来下1分钟（警察曰报警的人or证人说，
没听清楚）没有report，没有等警察来就走了，情节很恶劣。我说sorry，I didn't

my wife signed the note pages when we were signing the documents in the title
company. Now the bank send me a package saying that only I need to sign the
note pages and my wife is not supposed to sign. I guess it may be because
my wife is a full time housewife. They asked me to sign the note pages
again and send them back. It is a famous bank though. Is there anything

sign&submit：
"...By clicking “Sign and Submit Application” you are electronically
signing the application. You are required to electronically sign your
application yourself, unless otherwise exempt by regulation, even if the
application has been prepared by someone other than yourself. ..."
爸妈英文一窍不通，电脑也不太熟。就算是把填好的表发过去让他们sign&submit，也
不太高的定。不知道有没有因为帮爸妈sign而遇到麻烦的？

有进入隧道。可是那儿有两个STOP SIGN.左边的那个STOP SIGN肯定是给在这个RAMP上
，可是右边的那个STOP SIGN难道也是给我的，好像没有这个必要吗。
难道是右边那个STOP SIGN 给想右拐的车。上次我的一个朋友说这两个STOP SIGN 都是
给我的，左边的表示你要YIELD 从左边来的车，右边的STOP SIGN 表示要YIELD 右边要
MERGE 到这条LANE.
桥上单方向(279 SOUTH)好像有4条LANE (记不清楚还是6条），只有最左边两条lane进
隧道，也就是279 SOUTH.
我觉到那一带，特别是桥，路况非常复杂，稍不小心，很容易走错。
可能是我孤陋寡闻，少见多怪。

。第一次见到Stop Sign是在1998年，那会儿刚拿本儿不久，回想起来觉得长得和美国
的差不多，红底白字写一个“停”字。是在北三环外环方向和平西桥下，化工大学那里
，掉头去三元桥方向车道处，具体就在影协电影院的门口。这是我印象中最早的stop
sign了。有没有人知道更早的？
当时也不是太明白“停”的具体要求，基本上处于视而不见的状态。直到2000年，高中
同学的女友开车经过这个地方，当时我也在车上，没有停住，被警察拦了。被罚了180
元？+2分。当时我们大惑不解，还一个劲的跟警察掰扯呢，说凭什么罚我们，凭什么减
速通过还不行，非得停死？这是我见过最早因为stop sign被罚款的人。有没有人知道
更早的？

家竖了个希婆的yard sign,今天决定我也要放一个Trump sign,刚去Trump website定了
两套，如果被偷一套我再放一套。我们家的社区在我们这个城市算是比较好的中产社区

车直行,所以我在stop sign停下来让那辆车先走,然后我再左转弯, 转到一半的时候,看
到一辆没有亮灯的车,在小学门口的树下,我就回过头看了2眼,然后自言自语说,哦警察
的车...然后警察的车就马上打闪光灯了,跟上我.我停了车,觉得莫名其妙. 等了很久上
来一个黑人女警察,说我stop sign 没有停.要了我驾照保险直接我给我开罚单....真是
气的发抖,赤裸裸的被冤枉. 10月19号的court, 我刚好那天回国,信封的反面好像显示
disobey stop sign罚款76刀--自己对号入座的,不知道对不对.
求大家出主意: 多谢!!!!
1. 上court的时间刚好是要回中国3个星期, 要打电话推迟上court的时间? 如果上
court, 自己辩护吗 还是要请律师? 我真的觉得咽不下这口气,想去法庭辩护, 听说自
己去法庭上辩护,没有律师的话基本上是输?
2.如果直接把罚单的钱交了,是否会影响今后的保险? 我这是第一次拿这类ticket.

第一次上庭argue ticket，想听听有经验的人的建议。
警察在路边抓住我，说我一个stop sign没停稳，一个红灯右转没停稳，一下子两个
violation。然后接着指责我说，stop sign的时候，你前面有个大taxi，他没停，你不
能不停啊。。。关于这个，我打算argue前面的taxi挡住了我的视线，所以没看到stop
sign，我前面的taxi确实是那种面包车式的车，很高。然后那里路况很挤，很容易忽略
那个stop sign的标志。打算拍个照片带过去。而且他怎么不先去抓那个taxi，反而来
抓我，很不fair。
关于红灯右转没停稳，很难argue，但是我发现一个问题，警察开给我的罚单上面的
violation code （VC 21453C）是用于右转箭头是红色情况下却没停，直接闯红灯右转
。是用于路口右转有箭头保护的情况。感觉和我的情况不一样。不知道有没有人遇到有
类似情况或者熟悉这个violation code的，指点一下。

下准备直行或者右转，这个时候谁有路权？是按照先到先走的规则，还是左转让直行的
规则。
翻了一下交规，只说了four way或者multi way stop sign是先到先走，即使先到的左
转，后到的直行，也是左转的先走。但是没有找到类似的two way stop sign的规则，
google了一下，老美的说法也各有不同。
我个人认为应该是先到先走，也一直是这么做的，一直没有遇到过问题，今天中午和出
去吃饭，朋友开车，是按照左转让直行的规则，然后我就不知道谁是对的了。 |

早晨十点钟，过一个stop sign， 我觉得是s挺稳的
后来小cop骑个摩托车就过来了， 和我说，我有速度2-3mph！！！！！！！！
我知道他有录音，我就说，我觉得我肯定停了。
后来他还是给我一张ticket，上面写我速度是3mph。
我很不爽，就和他说我一定会ask for hearing
然后他走的时候，我手机拍了一个他rolling stop sign的录像。
还有就是，那个stop sign，有点被树挡着了。
但是现在不知道到底应该怎么和他辩论：
是说我真的停了? 如果他有录像support我确实有点点速度怎么办？
我说我没看见stop sign？ 就怕他说那你就是闯stop sign了。

夜里11点40，开车回家，在一个dark area路上开着，有一stop sign，我停后，然后离
开，在我停之前，就发现后面有一个车（大概离我3，4个车的距离）没有开前灯，当时
就觉得纳闷，也担心，过了stop sign就慢慢开，谁料到开了大概50，60米，那车闪灯
了，原来是警察。
停下以后，警察来了，说我没停Stop sign，我说I stopped，他告诉我，没看到我刹车
灯亮。这才恍然大悟，我中间那个刹车灯是不亮了（朋友刚告诉我没多久，后来隔天去
修才发现3个刹车灯都不亮了，车平时很少开，多是买菜，平时偶尔开一下）。
然后，警察就开了单，闯Stop sign，$124
另外，当时由于紧张，找保险时，我拿了一个也没看清，他问是不是保险，我说是就递
给他了。待警察回来时，告诉我给的保险是过期的（上次的），ticket上是$550，我在
说我有，他也不听了。
ticket后面给了3个选项，1是交钱，2是去解释（？不知道理解对不）3是上庭
该选哪个？希望dismiss掉（保险那个该容易吧）

stop sign没停死然后还抢了道。这也实在太冤了。
我想抗诉，请大家帮我看看理由是否还站得住脚，同时第一次过庭，请大家提醒我在准
备和上庭时需要注意的什么问题，谢谢。
抢道依据警察当时说是给我警告的，没想到也到了罚单中。警察主要认为我在右拐弯时
直接拐到垂直道的左边内侧，同时红灯，我没有让左边开来的车。我想回答的是，我承
认车开的有点随意，但这并没有违反交规，同时当时路口没有红灯不能拐弯的警告，所
以，我只需确保我在拐弯时没有影响左边来车的通行即可。很明显，我没有影响到交通
，因为在我拐完后后边来车的空隙大到便衣警车还能拐弯追上我。
stop sign没停死有点麻烦，因为他说有车载录像，他开罚单前看过录像确认我没有停
住就走了，可我的确是停了。我唯一能argue的是车载录像所测量或反映的只是两车之
间的相对距离，他的车在我的车后边，按照我在stop sign先停，开走，然后他再停开
走的常规，两辆车不太可能同时停住来测量我和stop sign的相对运动。所以他从录像

没停稳, 罚单上写的是4mph. 当时是这样的, 确实有点晕, 前一个stop sign(两个
blocks之前)四周check了一次都没有车, 然后在到这个stop sign的途中又check了一次
, 也没有车, 在approching这个stop sign四周check, 突然发现后面有一辆车, 似乎没
开前灯, 我大概累得有点糊涂了, 居然没想到是警察, 反而是联想起最近附近(洛杉矶
旁边的alhambra, monterey park)的一些尾随抢劫, 吓了一下, 到stop sign点了一下
就马上向左转了准备转出大路(本来是直走的, 为了避开他, 灯也没打), 结果后面跟着
转过来了, 我当时真以为是什么坏人, 打右灯准备停一下让他先过, 结果一下子后面就
闪灯了, 才知道是警察, 别笑话啊, 唉, 当时真有点犯傻...不过这个警察就顾着开罚
单, 问我要registration我给了去年和今年的给他, 结果他留着去年的把今年的扔回给
