card，虽然成功了，但是processing time要51天，也就是说要等到2/24号+10天
shipping才能拿到卡！我的AMEX Blue cash everday变成preferred只要24小时。
Anyway,还问了有哪些卡我可以转，下面是CSR给的清单，基本无用：
1. Dividend (visa, mastercard, or Amex)。最终从的AMEX，因为他家常搞些offer。
2. Thankyou preferred
3. Diamond preferred
4. Simplicity card
5. AA Advantage card(这个有年费，其他都没有)
提醒一下，很多信用卡都是第一次的用户才能拿到sign up bonus，所以像我这种
product change，不仅拿不到sign up bonus，而且也放弃了未来拿到sign up的机会。
当然好处是少了一个hard inquiry，对于信用分数不高，或者最近需要好信用的人不错

卡。我还没收到，但目测很快也将收到。这张卡既然没有存在的必要了，那么转卡势在
必行，弱弱问一下这张能转到别的卡么，转到哪张卡比较有价值？
UPDATE: 刚打了个电话，citi有三张卡不能转，包括 forward, simplicity,还有个貌
似是citi platinum select.
UPDATE2: 既然不能转，有啥替代的？barclay sm每月750的cap可以用在亚马逊，逢年
过节freedom都有亚马逊问题不大，吃饭csp 2x，娱乐部分比如电影院什么的只能季度
性discover了么。 |

在佐治亚 电话号码在内布拉斯加 google了一下这个号码 有不少scam跟这个号码关联
打电话给citi 暂时把钱退给了我 说要调查
现在过了俩多月了 来了封信 说对方提供了证据 我一看就是一些invoice复印件 上面
没有任何关于提供了什么产品或服务的说明 没有我的名字和地址 就一个邮编 付款方
式是key in
让我再确认一下有没有花过这钱 就这么一个回复 还得我自付邮费
现在citi穷得连邮费都不管了么？
记得以前跟别的信用卡dispute没这么麻烦 只要说不是自己授权的就直接把钱免了不再

1. BT最好的卡是Chase Slate。15个月全免息期，开卡60天内BT免balance transfer
fee。免息最长的卡是Citi Simplicity，21个月全免息期，3% balance transfer fee
。这两张卡都没年费！！！
2. 免息期分两种，0% APR for purchase + 0% APR for balance transfer，我说的全
免息期就是两种都是0%。你想申哪张卡，自己去看一下terms and condition的pricing
/rates这一部分。
BT之后能不能消费？消费叫purchase，请自行理解BT之后，用BT卡purchase是否
subject to 0% APR for purchases。
3. 还款优先级。
a. if your balance is less than $5, 还全款.
b. if your balance is more than $5, 每个月有一个minimum payment。必须要还足
这个minimum payment amount才不会影响信用。

谢谢大家的参与，根据意见，现在加上几个条件：
1：觉得多于一个音节的first name比较好，因为一般都叫first name，如果只有一个
音节，譬如说楼下有人提到的“nor”
，我很喜欢，但是单独叫起来貌似不那么顺口，大家觉得呢？
2：本人脑子比较简单，崇尚simplicity，只想给孩子一个名字，昵称，middle name的
，就省了。对应的中文是方便在中文的环境里面用。别人问中文名字就说，不然，就一
个official name。
3：并不需要从现成的名字里面pick，letter的combination即可，简单说，就跟现在公
司取名字一样。呵呵，合理的解释即可。

里面讲到玩具这部分时有个例子是某家庭收拾过后给两个孩子留下了十分之一的玩具
现在的大多数家庭的玩具和书都是过度丰富，收起来大部分对家庭环境和孩子的游戏都
有好处
书的最好放置方式是封面朝外摆出来，而不是在书架或者盒子里只看到书脊，可以买
book display放, 在Read-aloud handbook 里面还讲过用 rain gutter 自己装墙上的

发帖数: 10908 | 47 其实这个问题变得有点意思了。我觉得这个总体而言不用 over-emphasize。
但具体而言取决于不同的人群，每个人群常常有自己不同的看法，这个也不需要强求。
我觉得对于最常见的非数学专业的 STEM 人群，在高中毕业以后，也就是学了代数、
但没学群域环的人群，我觉得习惯上是认为中学代数里面，distributive property
只定义了一边，另一边由 commutative 导出。
这个原因是因为中学代数不是为了数学专业的，一个很大的作用是建立 formal system
的教育。而 formal system 里面，不做过多不必要的假定是一个很重要的因子。（就是
楼上说的 simplicity，好比不能说有牛三我加一条牛四也不是个大事）。
既然 distributive property 在中学代数里，只写成一边。那在中学代数范畴里，
严格推导就不能假定另一边存在，否则得在中学代数里，定义 distributive property
时得强调写成两个式子。
这个目的是对将来打基础，将来学习新的 formal system 的时候，不会加入隐含假定，
导致罗素到处乱跑。

发帖数: 2234 | 49 手里面有2个信用卡，美洲银行 有10K额度。运通银行有25K的额度。现在两张卡都有
balance debt。基本上一家人的支出消费，都是走这两张卡。美洲有差不多4K debt，
APR是24.58，每个月利息是100$出头。运通也有几千debt，16.22% APR,每月也有近100
$利息。考虑再三，决定试一下balance transfer到0% APR的信用卡。我可以每月按时
还款，但是没有利息。申请了Citi Simplicity，新客户21个月 0% APR for purchase
and balance trasnfer。 No Late Fees EVer, No Penalty Rate, No Annual Fee 。
我开卡就只是为了balance transfer。只有citi银行有21个月 0%APR，是目前最长的。
等debt还完了，这个卡我也不会用的。
现在我的问题是： Citi只给了我7K的额度。我是应该先弄美洲银行的debt（高利率）
、 还是运通的？另外，balance能转多少道citi新卡上面，才不会太risky和影响信用
