extremely unlikely that this is "spite" -- first they would have had to "

great lens as opposed to the 14-42 junk that is in most bundles. The camera
takes amazing video. In low light it is practically night vision
particularly when paired with the 20mm pancake. The cheapest I had seen it
before is $1000 at Samy's but that was only BM for those in Cali and you had

方舟子在举报信中说“施一公去年曾给《普林斯顿校友周刊》写信声称中国老百姓是不
配享有美国式的民主和言论自由的，也许因此不屑于让中国公众知情，那么至少也应给
国家自然科学基金委员会监督委员会一个中国式的解释。”不少人知道在中国拿政治异
见来压人的威力，方的这个举报用心可想而知。施一公原话是这么说的，“There is
no doubt in my mind that democracy in the U.S. style simply does not work in
China”。相信任何一个过了英语四级、包括给纽约时报写信自称Royal reader的方舟
子，不会不知道这句话根本没有他所说的这个意思。其后又很多人指出这一错误，但方
舟子从未做出更正。
8月13日，施一公的学生、清华大学教授颜宁在博客中为老师辩护，方舟子以牙还牙，
写了篇《很懂英文的“清华大学最年轻教授”颜宁》，说她英文不行，不懂“simply
does not work”的意思，却全然忘了几天前“读不懂”施一公文章的尴尬；中文也不
行，不懂“无间道”的意思，而颜宁在文章中明明说的就是“方舟子是在玩无间道吗

Our politicians have no backbone. We shall outsource our president and
congressmen jobs to China. China leaders are much tougher and effective in
dealing politics. There is no successful nation by simply giving everything
to others. All individuals, family, country are successful because they take
from others. Simply put on 100% tariffs on all imports. Americans will be
better. |
