dynafit did not get off the ski to switch mode, it was so easy for them to
peel off the skin with ski on or raise their tail piece for climbing. But I
do notice that they have extra step to fasten their toe piece.

patroller gets information from both parties and fill it in incident
report.

I searched the protocol and debated with them after I came back to my living
place.
They appologized for not following the protocal, but still saying skier ski
at his/her own risk. They have no responsibility for any thing. |

regardless “ski at your own risk” or not.
Even if it is “ski at your own risk”, the patrol still has a duty to make
sure you two exchange info if there is a reported accident. Particularly if
you did not say “I'm OK” and let the other party go. |

has helped improve my ski experience. Downhill skiing put quite
a bit of stress on calf (shin), quads, and knees. This time
I could handle blue lines quiet well and could go on the slopes
nonstop except lunch break. No wonder the guy at the lift
was surprised that I could go nonstop. I joked I was making my
money worth. :) |

3 months away. This will be my second year skiing. I was able to handle black
diamond at the end of last season. But I would still consider myself a medium
level skier. Still has a lot of room to improve.
So any suggestion would be highly appreciated on buying skis. Would Ebay be a
good source?

两周前和朋友们到heavenly滑雪住motel 6。阴差阳错谁也没记得把我车上snow rack上
的ski/snowboard谢下放到房间里去。结果是：朋友们两块崭新的snowboard和我钟爱的
Volkl AC2不翼而飞。可笑的是我的telemark ski居然被留了下来，大概是不好卖的除
去？
警察来了说snow rack上不上锁对小偷没什么区别。只能认栽了。
提醒大家节日期间注意防盗。丢了东西影响滑雪心情。 |

TrueCabbage,和ningjia 所说,11月有点早,尤其是去年下雪晚,一般雪场11月末才开.开
始雪不是太好.对新手来说,最早也要12月吧.
归纳回答你的问题:
1.一般在11月末.新手最好要等到12月,雪好点吧.但今年如果10月开始下雪那就好了.11
月就可以去了.我也是盼早点下雪啊.哈.
2.heavenly 住的好,SKI完了可以到赌场赢一把.kirkwood雪好. 还有些雪场Sierra at
Tahoe, Northstar, Squaw, 可以考虑.每个雪场都有Ski lessons package. 如果从San
Francisco Bay Area 开车去, kirkwood最近. |

both skis. You skis will need more time to react so you need to be patient
to let the up-down rhythm finish. Short turn and tight stance will help a
lot but not a must. There are also differnt heel and toe position in your
boots but I do suggest you read some books to get a whole picture for this
but remember, never lean back to lock your ski tail...

the "Ski'nRide" package -- it's $80 per person per day. This includes
breakfast, hotel, ski pass, and bus ride. We can always rent a car by
ourselves should the need arise.
I honestly don't know how to go cheaper than that - ski pass separately we
are looking at $60+ just by itself, and there's also some convenience factor
with going with a hotel as well.

水平：是滑兰道比较舒服，简单的黑道也可以滑，mogul上了一两次，不太会滑偶尔摔摔
可以平行打弯，但是感觉两条ski并的不够拢，坡陡的时候还是有点wedge
最近看了看几个网站，看中了这两块板子，不知道对我们是否合适？如果不合适，有没
有什么推荐呢？（预算每人200左右）

I'd like to learn some AT skiing too, just the beginer stuff not a hardcore
backpack stuff.
Like I told qmc and the Ski Utah! grounp, that people in Utah are under a
lot of pressure to perform. YF is a very quick learner and he carves really
well.
The next time qmc and Shrily can show us how to ski moguls. They are really
textbook styled, methodical, and far better looking than us guys. |
