发帖数: 205 | 2 我只是从我的角度实话实说，小伙子也没必要有抵触情绪。我说了一堆skillset你说你
全会，也没什么意义。
总体而言这就还是一个典型的产品组，只有一小部分人在做infra。老大是个烙印，相
信你也知道。如果你只是想做一个码工，应付应付活儿，那这也并不是一个坏去处。但
是在这个组里面，你接触不到Ads核心的开发工作，基本上是一条平行的糙快猛的
pipeline（和大部分产品组一样），毕竟是收购进来的公司。
总之就看你要什么了。 |

发帖数: 721 | 3 樓主辛苦了，我半百老碼農，類似skillset，前年被雷，找了兩個月，先幹一年
consultant 去年轉正。
以前管理職的title就寫team lead,應該比較恰當。
每一份發出去的Resume一定都要照著你覺得適合的工作修訂小細節。
算法繼續刷，雖然我覺得這只是第二道保險，算法在開發一般軟件上並不實用，所以學
起來很煩又廢時間，但也沒辦法。
我能找到工作，最主要的還是找最match的工作，只要對方覺得你很match,要被hire不
難。consultant 一般不會考算法，也是我運氣好。 |

0. 你有工作有绿卡的人为啥要转计算机啊？
1. SkillSet得有实例支撑啊，做移动的给出app store／google play 链接，做网站的
给网站链接，做桌面程序的给下载链接。
2. 别在Open Source Project 上面浪费时间。
3. Leetcode的精华还在解锁的题啊。
4. 其实最重要一点，这个还是很看学校与GPA的。网上的master学位现在还不是特别受
待见。 |

My few cents:
1. Change the section Project to Achievement.
2. Add highlights in each project. For example, the Chinese Learning app, #
of installs, user reviews, cutting-edge technologies being used
3. List your GPA, class rank, scholarship, any achievements if they are good

头一句话太重要了。有项目就有客户，没项目的话，你技术再好也没戏。
我曾经尝试过contractor的路子，到elance上面接活儿，也接到了活儿，没做完。有时
间我写写我的经历。
长话短说，是可行的，一，你要有过硬的技术和经验，二，你的沟通能力(
communication skillset)要极强, 要能够和客户周旋，赚了钱还大家都满意的那种。
三，你还要和第三世界的码工竞争。有人做成功过的，但，具体看你是不是做这个的料

我信奉的是100%,甚至是120%的投入到business里去，focus, 专注。
我觉得兼职其实就是个distraction. 如果你只是想挣些钱的话，那另说了。但如果你
把business作为事业做的话，那兼职就不是条路。
我没觉得突然不挣钱，会有啥大问题。很多人都有这种担心，但我的想法是，如果我有
能力，有skillset, 就算我business fail了，找份工作还能难倒哪儿去呢？况且，有
过business经历的，我想人家更喜欢要你这种人才。 |

我的情况是，reorg的新闻宣布，大家都申请internal的position，我internal申的第
二选择，被老板挑上了，但是一谈发现工作实在boring，对我成长毫无益处，而且还要
搬家（尽管现在又说可以不搬了，但我实在不信他们）。换句话说，他们不懂我们这块
东西，把老板都裁了，但是希望懂这块东西的人留下，事实上现在进行技术整合后，就
是我我现在对他们是宝，过个半年就是草，我懂的这块东西没有用了，我就要去学他们
平台上的东西。我就觉得，如果都是重新开始，我干嘛跳老坑。
但是我担心他们给我internal offer，我拒的话，是不是severance package就拿不到
了。请问怎么处理这样的事情。我大概的理由是this job is quite different from
my expectation. somehow it downgrades my skillsets, and limits my future
