哎，5，6，7几个月我的狗血事情忒多了，当然和opt bounce check比是毛毛雨～～～
毕业后老板在mailing list上发祝贺，我当时还兴高采烈回复说我的phd好像乘过山车
，在学校里有老板bail out，但是太特么吓人了，我要改过自新，毕业后不要这么不靠
谱了。。。没想到大boss是opt啊 @.@~~~
而且我无法吸取教训，too careless，super sloppy，，，一直在一类小事上悲剧，继
续反省中｀｀｀
哎，就是想祝贺毕业，还把爸妈都弄到身边，为了让他们舒服点，又换房子，囧。。。
现在真是后悔了，自不量力悲剧了。。。幸亏他们身体还好，这一趟来玩被我折腾的要命 |

，干嘛还死了心往美国挤, 还贷款自费连个奖学金都没有？
英语好都是屁话，印度人的英语相当sloppy，简历看上去花枝招展，其实语言经不起推
敲，哄英语差的措措有余

，在邮件里也专门提到了，还专门解释了一个cell里面是情况a的结果，一个cell里面
是情况b的结果。他自己没有注意，发了一封邮件说我为什么只考虑了一种情况还张冠
李戴？如果这是我的钱不是公司的钱，我会不会这么花，言下之意就是我因为花的不是
自己的钱就满不在乎sloppy。更过分的是他把这封邮件还cc了另一个同事。 |

- I used $1300 and hired a contractor to tear off a 400 sf of flat roof, and
then install a new sloppy roof and new gut with two downspouts. (3 people
for 2 days + all materials). They also repaired some wood damages under the
old flat roof.

解释成不签agreement也默认exclusive；但是在agreement里多加这末一条，有可能省
掉以后很大的麻烦和风险，因为不能把希望寄托在courts hold minority ruling上。
反复被教育的一个lesson就是，你想要什末，一定在合同中明确提出来，以免以后产生
纠纷。很多争议就是因为合同写的sloppy或者没有明确指明某项条款。 |

天花板，壁橱，窗台，门,baseboard上都有点点的颜色。而且不少地方没刷均匀,有些
地方根本没刷到。。。
现在自己请了个人刷，虽然说刷的也很是sloppy，但是基本上不仔细看是看不出刷的不
好地方的。 毕竟人家有经验，刷的专业多了。如果自己不是很细心的那种，还是请人
比较好。 |

且当初contractor最底下的腊封压歪了，漏水，两个问题
基本上都是装修工的sloppy job
由于那个屋子一般不住人一直懒得弄。现在in law住那个屋子我就研究了研究给弄了，

国的坏话，中国学生的坏话。虽然是搞过民运的，但是行事一点也不民主，你绝对不能对
他又一丝质疑，即使是学术上的argue 也不行。有一次，我们在一些问题上有不同看法，
我向系里的另一个教授咨询了，他知道了后，一直亘亘于怀。从那以后对我态度非常不好
。
每次与他谈话，他总是能挑出我一大堆毛病：not working hard, sloppy, not 100%
honest(我这种人竟然都被说不honest)......如果我欲解释，他就说我找exucuse,说我不
cooperative. 总之每次都能让你觉得你无可救药，他正站在思想道德的制高点上对你进
行审视和教育。然后慷慨激昂，凌然大义地用一顶高帽把你压死。
心里面非常郁闷，经常是和他谈完话后，大哭一场，觉得自己一无是处，作research根本

琴，也是大学起就不再系统练习了，十多年没怎么碰过之后，发现如果坐到钢琴面前，
以前那些弹过时间比较长的曲子都还能照着谱子大致凭着肌肉记忆基本上弹下来，包括
肖邦圆舞曲，月光第一乐章级别的一些曲子，就是比较sloppy而已。LG小时候学的时间
比我长一点，也是大学之后多年没碰过钢琴，几年前从新开始每天练琴，能达到把贝多
芬最后几首奏鸣曲按照差不多的速度弹下来的程度，当然算不上弹的有多好。他练的最
多的时候大概是偶尔一天2-3个小时。
就我个人来说，我自己是有很长一段时间坚决认为自己不会再弹钢琴了，但是到了这两
年，还是感觉自己想法有了变化，目前也算是重新开始玩一玩了。现在回头想想，我倒
是觉得自己学钢琴时，主要的一个问题或许是只学了“弹”琴，或者说被逼着硬练的手
上功夫，对音乐的欣赏和理论基本上没有怎么学习过。有可能，如果当年老师（或者甚
至是父母）多对我说几句这方面的东西的话，我对学琴的积极性会高一些或不少。现在
自己打算回头补一点乐理上的基本知识，一部分是为了自己，一部分也是由于女儿现在
也在学琴的缘故。 |

我觉得像我这种情况，愿意给我面试机会的老板更注重人的knowledge, personality，
还有特别是要看看你是否注意细节，因为这些完全可以弥补经验上的不足。说到实验技
能，我是没有mammalian的经验，但基本的molecular biology实验都作过，本质没太大
差别。只要你作实验不是很sloppy,一般没有问题。
当然这和每个老板的需求有关，有的老板只是想找个干活的，马上解决紧急问题的。这
样的老板也不会bother to interview me. 如果你确实很想去某个实验室，面试前一定
要做好research. |

至少现在看来是不看好，一般early adopter 持favor意见的会比较多，但是win 8 大
部分人还是critical。
我不会入MSFT，微软在新产品开发上感觉已经黔驴技穷了，BING 投了这么多钱。而且
technically很多地方都能拼的过google，用户还是这么少。说明了什么？
不像其他一些产品，如OS，search engine的switching cost 是negligible的
