Previously i've done calculation between 335i and 335d
(both with 6spd-auto but with different final gear ratio)
the 335i wins with non-trivial edge.

I went to a nearby dealer today to take a look at the car. Here are my
findings:
I could sit in the 3rd row seat (I'm 6 feet 2)with my thick winter coat on.
There are plenty leg rooms but my head/hair would press against the ceiling.
So there are enough room for kids or people of smaller frames.
the center seat belt works fine with booster seat. However, there are no
head-rest for center seats (2nd or 3rd row). will become an issue in a year
or two as my kids grow.

course you need some car like Accord or Corolla to get that price. I used to
pay 500 to replace the clutch on my old Infinniti G20.
If you have a Mercedes or similar, even the smaller worshop will quote you
