than 15 fish, including 3 keepers.
The creek was very shallow and most of summer it was only a couple of foot
deep in most areas. So, the fish are small, compared to delaware river. More
than half fish only 4"-6". Luckily, the largest one was about 18" and 3 lb
that gave me a good fight, when I was using a light-action rod (first time I
use a light tackle). I gave the fish to a friend on the way home and didn't

last Sunday between 10am-1:30pm. The pictured one was the only one that I
kept for a meal and the rest were either released or gifted for the others
on the spot. The best time to land a bass during a day is between 9:30 to 2
according to my experience. |

扔了几杆就上了，开始还以为是sheephead一直往水里扎，因为不会跳，后来才发现太
大了跳不起来。拉到岸边的时候it挺聪明，往石头缝里面钻，后来看到饵上面的一段线
都在石头上磨花了。
挂底太让人郁闷，丢了很多饵
后来摘钩子加试图revive fish搞了20多分钟，结果还是不成功，游不走，累的我在那
里没力气，坐地上休息的时候fisheatme父子来了，老爷子钓了条不大的walleye，
fisheatme上了好多sheephead，其中一条超大25"往上了。
whitebass比前段时间又大了一些。钓了10来条，还有一条12寸左右的smallmouth。
刚刚才发现居然尺子给竖起来了，看不见刻度可以参照我的手和墨镜哈
前天的old PB 19"，两天就破了，还是比较爽哈哈 |

請大家确認一下. 我看了它的tongue, 好像沒有 tongue patch. 另外, 嘴邊有一排很
小的尖牙. 我想問bass有這樣的牙嗎? |

时间：6：00 - 8:00
收获：smallmouth 4, whitebass 3
用饵：Berkely Powerbait minnow, tube, rapala original/joint
用Powerbait minnow和tube分别上了一条2lb以上的smallmouth.（现在正是SMALLMOUTH
下蛋时）其它两条smallmouth 1 磅左右，whitebass也＜＝1 磅左右（rapala joint
上两条，其余都是powerbait minnow上的，再次证明Berkely PowerBait Realistix
Minnow (black shad)是比较好用的饵。特别是现在这种还不太热的时候）。
只要了两条大SMALLMOUTH，其它放了。到7：30时tailwater放水，只好改钓WALLEYE，
钓了半个小时没反应，就收工了。
两条大BASS上得真是爽，两条都在水面上跳来跳去，FIGHTING起来真过瘾。 |

呢？发个渔讯振奋一下士气----秋天这拨真的来了。
时间：9月12日6:00~8:00PM。
地点：Fox River, Illinois。
天气：晴，70F，无风。

Lure: Rapala Original Floater (Gold)
从家里出来的很晚，6点才到达预定战场；先下个竿沉底，6:05持另一竿开始在浅水区
wading；6:07第一次bite，从此至7:23放弃wading共有11次bite，上10条鱼，破个人
smallmouth最大纪录，smallmouth一次渔获量最重纪录，和今年钓鱼最好收成。请看以
下的fishing log。
有点厌倦了与smallmouth fight，7:25起专心于沉底竿钓catfish，这样在黑暗中等待
到8:30，没有一个bite。撤退回家。

人家那个Minnesota的网站（BTW,另一个人提供的网站的说明文字其实是一样的，只是
没有具体地标线），明明用的是圆弧的尾端，而不是腮帮子的尾端，如果非要很严谨的
话，也应该是按照附件【1】的。你画的是尖角的腮帮子了。
其实人家标准的真实用意是丈量从嘴角到鱼眼的距离，你这用腮帮子的简直是胡搅蛮缠
，那鱼张开嘴的时候嘴角会是你画的那个尖角么？Faint。
况且标准说了是“Way beyond”，是真正用来表述大嘴的定义。我原来的第一眼的直觉
就是那个鱼的嘴太小了。
再说了，提供一串Small Mouth Bath的图片吧，“Somerville 大嘴记”里楼主贴的是
纵纹不明显的Small Mouth Bath，否则按照你的画法，那这个网站的第一个图片就应该
是Large Mouth Bass了，见按你的方法标记的附件【2】，Faint。

limit smallmouth bass,especially few people fishing the same spot. Base on
the past fishing report,you are having a pretty good day if you catch 3 of
them. Of course, they are most likely quality smallmouth. There is no

抛砖引玉。
按照本地钓鱼手册上的分类归纳了一下，大概30多种。和版上淡水高人固然没法比，
比之咸淡双修的牛人们更是相形见绌。不过作为一个纯业余渔民，钓鱼的最大乐趣
在于以渔会友，享受自然。这几年最大的收获不在于鱼获，也不在于技术和经验的
进步，而是结识了好多意气相投的渔友。这其中不乏钓鱼知识和水平都非常出色的
高人，他们无一不是谦谦君子，人品和渔品都让人拜服。跟他们一起钓鱼，是一种
享受。
钓友遍天下，知交三五人。钓鱼至此，夫复何求。

今天又一次重温了一边illinois smallmouth alliance的告示牌： It takes a
smallmouth 4~5 years to reach 12~13 inch.
7~8 years to reach 16 inch, and more than 10 years to grow a 4 pounder.

昨晚去walmart买了一卷pp的20lb的braid线
准备以后开始转走暴力路线
不管挂底还是上鱼都直接拉回来
今天下班后开车去好久没去过的大坝开始暴力路线
先在大坝南岸钓了一会
只上了一条小屁屁bass
随手就抛回去了
旁边一个劳模上了一条不错的墙眼
大概16-18”的样子吧
我在旁边羡慕了半天
可不管怎么试都再没有bite了
于是决定去北岸的小坝试试
这回运气不错
一到北岸小坝第一杆就上了一条小墙眼
真是小啊
大概8-9”…
不过这也是我好久以来第一条墙眼了
不错不错
继续试
用了20lb的线以后确实不错
就算挂底了也都可以直接把钩拉弯拉回来

那里环境比utah lake 好. utah lake水比较脏,味道也不好闻....
Jordanelle 钓鱼收获也比较有保证. 主要鱼种是trout, smallmouth bass.
另外路也近一些.大约30分钟就能到,风景也漂亮一些.

几年前在别的州的时候bass常钓, 但没特别要钓smallmouth . 大多是 white ,
striped.
当时 bait 用的就是水边现捞的minnow
来md后也听朋友说 "no boat, no bass" , 钓到的多是些 bluegill , 本来就忙, 也就
没动力了. 咋说咱这也是钓 walleye 的手啊, 呵呵.
俺下周vacation跟家里人出去玩.

发帖数: 3388 | 48 因为中秋都过了，感觉应该比较好钓鱼了。于是终于忍不住等着stock trout，到湖里
钓bass去了。（相比较而言，感觉还是钓bass有意思些，因为trout太好钓了）
虽然bite不多，但一般有bite就会钓上来。看样子鱼开始变饿了，开始积蓄过冬的能量
了。做以下小结，希望对大家有点用。
1.所用过的饵：tube, powerbait nightcrawler, powerbait minnow.
2.我所有的鱼都用tube钓上，一朋友用powerbait minnow钓上一条walleye.
3.
tube: 黄绿色 － largemouth 2条；crappie 3条；walleye 1条；smallmouth 1条
tube: 深绿色 － largemouth 1条。
4.
基本上都是在tube位于bottom的时候bite的，说明鱼在比较深水处(就是因为钓得深，
挂掉我几颗tube)；
一有bite就能钓上，说明鱼变饿了；
剖开肚子，鱼肠里面东西还不是很多，（有条bass里面居然有一截树枝），说明鱼刚开
始没多久进食过冬，所以估计今后1个月左右都还比较好钓。

在美国钓鱼前要做两点准备.
(1) 买钓鱼的许可(Fishing License).
(2) 掌握钓鱼的规则 (Fishing Regulations and Laws).
各个州的钓鱼规则不相同，而且每年都在变动．
2. 钓鱼的许可
2.1. 许可的基本知识
(1) 在美国大多数情况下钓鱼需要许可．例如，2006年在宾州只有１６岁以下的人钓鱼
不需要许可．
(2) 钓鱼的许可分为淡水 (fresh water) 和海水 (salt water). 有的州在海水里钓鱼
不需要许可；据我所知，在淡水里钓鱼都需要许可．
(3) 2006年在宾州有了淡水钓鱼许可，就可以在任何公共的水域 (public water) 里钓
鱼了. 也就是说, 你不可以在私人的池塘里钓鱼.
(4) 有了钓鱼许可, 并不意味着你可以钓任何鱼, 例如，2006年在宾州有了淡水钓鱼许
可，可以钓鳟鱼 (Trout) 以外的其它鱼. 钓鳟鱼要购买专门的许可(Trout Stamp).
2.2. 许可的购买
