fell
First, the unit does not send mist up. As soon as it is emitted from the two
spouts, it just drops to the floor.
It does need to be placed several feet above the floor surface or it will
get wet.

博士最后一门课，要写篇论文。我很早就有了个想法，跟另外一个教授讨论，正好他在
做类似的研究，说可以跟我合作，并且给了我他写的一点东西，让我稍微改改当作业交
上去。我觉得这样挺好的，不只是作业，还能成为真正的论文。
期末了，我把教授给我的东西稍微改动了一下交上去了。可是做演示的时候，我愚蠢地
透露了这篇作业是我和另一个教授在合写的论文。教课的教授听说了大为不满，说我不
ethical。她问我哪些成果是我的，我迫于压力谎称大部分成果是我的，另一位教授只
是给了建议，虽然其实大多是另一位教授写的东西，我只是稍微改写了一下。教课的教
授便说下周她会读我的论文，然后跟另一位教授聊一下再决定怎么办。
我很担心，便写了封信给另一位教授，让他帮我说点好话。另一位教授人很好，我相信
他会帮我。但是教课的教授很个，我怕她会揪着这件事不放。

处理人际关系是我的弱项，常常不知道怎么应付，所以上来问问大家。
她是博士同学，来了很多年了，据说硕士也是在这个学校读的，中国人，持绿卡。我刚
来的时候她就对我很不好，比如坚决要求我用英文跟她交谈，后来发现她跟其他中国人
也都讲中文的；问她怎么很多网上的文章都找不到不肯告诉我，说不会自己想吗，不要
一有什么问题就找人。后来问了一个同学，他说她对他挺好的，很热情地告诉他周围有
哪些餐馆什么的。我很纳闷她为什么单单对我这样，难道是见我好欺负？
后来她的态度有转变，因为我对她很友善，她有什么问题我总中肯地告诉她答案。
昨天下午，见她和一个来访问的教授聊天，就凑热闹说我也有一个做文章的想法想跟那

nailed down piece by piece. Other method, floating or glue down may not be
so good, depending on how much water got under and how long, you might be ok.
Laminate is the worst once water got under, once the bottom was soaked, you

压力。jacuzzi力度大，但喷头通常只有几个。air tub力度小，喷头有几十个，力度均
匀。
不过我当初没选jacuzzi最大的原因是听说jacuzzi的喷水管道不好维护，容易潮湿长细
菌。我不知道现在高级的jacuzzi是不是有了更好的改进。air tub的管道里面只有气体
，而且每次排水完之后都会吹风保证管道干燥。
如果泡澡的时候要在水中加些乱七八糟的东西，比如盐，泥，香精之类的，更容易在
jacuzzi的管道中沉积。air tub可以跟soaking tub一样，什么都可以加。（也许是这

prewash和soak都是为了更好的处理重soil衣物，一般机械动作会比较轻。三星的top
load现在有activeWash功能，就是放进一个sink在盖子下面，可以机洗前手洗或soak。
Maytag的PowerWash则是用高温剧烈动作来清理顽固污渍。
detergent在进水过程中一般就会被释放到桶里。bleach一般会在第一轮agitation之后
或者rinse中，以免会deactivate洗衣液中的酶。softener一般在第一轮rinse之后，老
式的agitator洗衣机的dispenser在柱子中，达到一定转速之后被甩出来。
还有就是，衣物呵护和清洁一般可以兼顾，但追求特别轻柔和特别清洁就很难，这就是

第五天 (SEA WORLD)
今天是在ORLANDO的最后一天了，晚上还要赶去迈阿密北边的FT. LAUDERDALE. 先去玩
SEA
WORLD。从KISSIMMEE的旅馆去SEA WORLD也很方便，顺着I-4向北开，看到SEA WORLD的指
示牌就很快到了，估计十几分钟的样子。我们9点准时在开门前就来到了。前几天实在是
玩得太累了，今天可得悠着点，晚上还有两百多迈的路等着我呢。来之前已经在
SEAWORLD
的网上搜过了，想去哪都想好了，先搞一份地图加时间表，记划一下。SEAWORLD对我们来
说主要是看动物SHOW，至于参观各种动物馆那可以串插着来，当然有小孩就不一样了，没
准在海豚馆就能呆上半天。至于动物表演，有些一天只演一场，有些两场，所以最好计划

这个是所有园子里面我最喜欢的，上次去玩了一天，这次玩了一天半。以后肯定还会再
去。所有的表演都值得去看，圣诞期间加演的Shamu特别节目Miracle最精彩。
今年的游客似乎比以前要少，看表演的队伍我们都是排了半个小时，位置还挺不错，都
在看台中部，soak zone的边上。怕被打湿的可以拿个雨衣挡一挡，反正就那么一下子
，有的人没有防水措施，就临时逃出soak zone，等泼完水再回去。其实除了Shamu那里
水比较大，其他的都没什么威力，顶多溅到前三排。坐在第一排的好处是有很大的机会
被选中当volunteer,参加表演，对于小孩子是难忘的回忆呢。
排队的时候挺无聊，可以趁机吃吃喝喝，用iphone上网，速度还挺快。
SeaWorld里面只有一个过山车，一个类似激流勇进的Journey to Atlantis,都是要存包 |

suppose the text page contains the following:

remover to lightly buff off the blue but it's best to just let the parts
soak in the solution for a few hours first.
Let the chemical in the blue remover do the work.
Just a FYI soaking all the parts in vinegar (much cheaper) over night will
also remove all the blue
You can use a product called Never Dull http://www.amazon.com/Eagle-One-1035.../dp/B000CNBI1A wadding to polish the parts up afterward.

and socks will be totally soaked after a run longer than 8 miles. One of my
friends who run a 8 mile with me in Houston told several of our friends
about the noise coming from my feet sliding in the shoes-:)
hour walking at 15%, for over 2770 ft elevation gain. I even got a blister
from walking because my socks were soaked - something to watch out for in an
ultra - never let sweat get into your socks. |
