doubt that three layers of socks can protect
you from glasses on the sidewalk. Also, it would be too hot in summer days.:)
Let me tell you a more serious problem. I don't know if you ever tried to run in socks, say on the treadmill.
When I do it I get blisters very quickly. The socks will slide around the foot, which is a big problem. The five
finger shoes are designed to fit your foot exactly and there is no room to slide. |

and socks will be totally soaked after a run longer than 8 miles. One of my
friends who run a 8 mile with me in Houston told several of our friends
about the noise coming from my feet sliding in the shoes-:)
hour walking at 15%, for over 2770 ft elevation gain. I even got a blister
from walking because my socks were soaked - something to watch out for in an
ultra - never let sweat get into your socks. |

depending on your running form and terrain, the knees may or may not be the
bottleneck. If you are a forefoot striker (which I don't think you are if
you wore 2160) then you would not have knee problems; in that case, the

上次报过5千，说过，年初开始跑。周mileages一段时间到过40，后来一般也就30多.因
为我平时跑步时间也就45分钟，还包括热身。大部分是在机器上跑。周末有时在外面跑
，也是那种打酱油的低心率跑，断断续续，因为没有一条路能连着让我跑13 miles.所
以平时训练没有真二八经连续跑过13mile。周2去跑步机测了一下1万米，连热身在内，
不到47分钟。周3，4，5休息。因为从以前跑步经历知道,第7-9 mile一定抽筋。所以带
了Salty sticks, 2个gels (第一次) ，compression socks (第一次穿)。然后自己手里
拿了一瓶嘉的乐。
因为找不到地方，到跑步前15分钟才到，没有时间热身。 第3 mile吃了一个salty
stick,第5 mile吃了一个gel，第8mile把嘉得乐扔了，嫌麻烦.第9miles没多久就感觉
噩梦开始了，觉得腿开始有点抽，但是没水，然后硬是把第二个salty stick用口水吞

macro level it's true that most pro has similar mechanics but if diving into
the details there are some subtle yet very distinct difference. It's these
small differences that differentiates their play style and their game...
here it's these subtle difference that socks game does not bother federer at

is socks.
I'm not claiming one is better than the other, just want to share my
prospective on how I see things. Joker's racquet pretty much stays in the
same hitting plane or the swing slot the entire time, where you see Sock's
racquet does a lot stuff in different plane before getting into that swing
slot.

看了杀手君上面的文章“华夏何处觅旧书”，西门不禁心动，琉璃厂
是我一直梦寐以求而一直未得以谋面的老朋友。第一次听说她的名字是在
一位北京的朋友口中，单单听到这个名字，就可以想象出她的风韵：那个
身着旗装，梳着刘海的大家女子，华装掩不住衰败，清秀中带着风尘，然
又不失大度。当你走到她的府上，她就会为你捧出一本本泛黄的，略带古
旧气味的老书来，你尽可以大大方方地带一本回家，伴着一杯清茶，细细
品味其中的沧桑和荣辱。每次到北京都想要去拜望她，但每次都错过与她
的约会，好象冥冥中刻意安排，一次一次的擦肩而过更让我对她心驰神往。

Appropriate Business Casual Clothes
Not sure if you picked appropriate business casual options? Go grab another
cup of coffee, and follow these examples of excellent fashion sense.
Slacks, corduroy pants, khakis and capri pants (no more than 3 inches above
the ankle)
Casual shirts (with or without collars), golf shirts, sweaters and
turtlenecks

作为一个professional，面试时应该穿深色西装。而男士的西装本身就包括衬衫，领带
，黑皮鞋，黑皮带配黑色dress socks。
dress socks是和正装搭配的袜子，质地精细，经常是混纺，上面往往有细致的纹路。
袜腰比较长不会露出腿来。
你会说：‘那白线袜子有啥罪过？线袜透气，舒适，白色干净。’我会说：白线袜啥错
都没有可惜没被包含在男西装之内。比如，运动衫很舒服，你会穿在西服内去面试吗？
同样道理，白线袜子也不应该穿到办公室更不能面试。不是袜子本身的问题，是人家觉
得你还缺乏服装礼仪常识，就会怀疑你作为外国人，是否能适应美国职场文化。
妙龄少女身着锦缎和服，足上穿的是白棉线袜。如果换成黑色丝袜你会怎么感觉？
中国传统衣装里，大头布鞋配白色布袜，中国人觉得很顺眼很干净利索。如果哪位洋小
伙去中国学武艺，一身中国传统衣装偏穿了黑色布袜，你会怎么感觉？
北美人沿袭欧洲人的习惯，白线袜只在运动时穿。 |
