我发现当年的美国人管孩子和我们小的时候是一样的啊。比如说这个打还是不打。把家
里什么贵重的东西弄坏了，那一定是一顿抽啊，怎么现在发达了，娃就不能打了呢？
我觉得打还是不打其实不是问题。其实是怎么看这个打的事。比如你打就是为了让娃记
住这件事，那没什么。这个比较适用于小宝，不太懂事，打手俩下，他就记住了。如果
你就是自己心里有火，要发泄一下，那就不对了。其实一般的父母如果没事失去理智，
都不会把孩子打伤吧。还有就是你如果打完以后一定会内疚，那就别打了。

“国际不打小孩日”(International Spankout Day)，是由美国反体罚组织“有效管教中心(Center For Effective Discipline)”于1998年发起的。它的英文名称中spank一词俗称“打屁股”，所以有人直接译为“无巴掌日”或“拒绝体罚日”。这一活动先在美国境内推广，后来逐渐得到了国际响应。今年举办活动的国家就遍布欧洲、美洲、非洲和亚洲。口号是：“请来试试看，至少在今天不要打小孩，或者你将会发现，今天过后的每一天，你都不需要打小孩了。”
在中国，这个节日的名气还不大。我国古代有“不打不成器”、“棒下出孝子”的说法，微博上的网友，绝大部分都说自己挨过打。“竹笋炒肉丝，天天吃有木有？”“上初中之后才不挨打的人默默飘过。”“我爸说我三天不打上房揭瓦”……

同样，教育孩子偶尔用“暴力手段”的高先生，也认同徐先生的看法。高先生的孩子上幼儿园，有一次孩子撒了谎，他耐着性子让孩子承认错误，但孩子愣不认错。“我抬手就打了他屁股，你说家长如果不惩罚孩子，他就养成撒谎的习惯了。”
虽然“国际不打小孩日”家长们认同度不高，但在孩子们看来，“国际不打小孩日”给他们提供了一个“疯狂”的理由。

小炜说，男孩子多少都挨过打，关系近的同学之间，还会讨论“防挨打”的技巧。
