把同样的sample送去了另外一个地方，据说有个很高级的mass spec，5600还是什么的
，而且还便宜。
1， 两个facility基本都发现同一批蛋白，高级的机器果然比旧机器好，发现更多的蛋
白，而且发现的peptide数目要多很多很多。
2， 旧机器发现的冠军蛋白A，在新机器下面不再是冠军蛋白。
3，新的冠军蛋白三周前search还是37kDa, 上周NCBI居然update成了47kDa, N
terminal多出一串amino acid，所以基本符合sds-page胶的预测 (45kda)。
最后，还是谢谢各位mass spec达人的解疑。 |

有个关于身份的问题想请教一下
本人30，还有几个月engineering博士毕业，最近投了简历到几个firm做IP. 有一个
onsite, 见了两个partner几个tech specs. 最后来了一个immigration service的
paralegal简单的说了几句，问我现在身份的事情，我说是F1.她说要先办H1B，但以后
如果有需要的话("depending on the cases you work on"),可以办绿卡。
去面试之前根本没有考虑过身份的问题，回家以后慢慢琢磨，觉得真是对身份的事情完
全没概念, 所以面试的时候也不知道该不该问，能不能问。我想请教一下，一般law
firm给办绿卡的话，要等几年才可能呢？给tech spec办么？还是说一定要法学院录取/
毕业了,或者是做到associate才给办？

另外，你是最近才面试的么？我现在刚开始找工作。。
ls的不好意思我好几天没来，今天才看到你的回复。
我大概一年以前开始有转IP的想法，当时跟我的老板聊了一下，老板觉得虽然这是一个很多人都不考虑的option,如果我感兴趣，值得一试。他建议我接触一下这方面的知识，毕竟有兴趣才有动力。我于是春季学期跑到法学院去旁听了一门patent law。上课基本上就是在讨论cases,讲USC35。刚开学的时候我还跟得上，到后来因为我既没有复习,也没有读case,对property law也根本没概念，就只是听个热闹而已。Anyway，一个学期下来，我觉得做patent law里面对于细节的要求很多,跟我自己的性格很合拍，虽然讨论繁琐，reading也很多，我还是很感兴趣的，所以就决定了这个career option.
秋季学期的时候我又跑到商学院去旁听了一门basic business law toward technologies的课程，学了一点最基本的法律知识，明白了其实专利申请只是IP里面很小的一部分，IP management是个包容了pat... 阅读全帖 |

天窗，remote start，60%的前轮，90%的后轮，新的刹车片，刚做了90K的tune up。由
于我秋季要转学去另一个挺远的学校，打算在这试试能否出掉。
该车不好的地方有：
1.左侧后视镜和尾灯有小的缺口，但不影响使用，仅影响美观；
2.收音机坏；
3.离合有一点点紧，不过我每天开，赶脚问题不大；
4.车身有一些小的划痕；
其他方面该车都很好，发动机很强劲，muffler经改装过，很有驾驶快感。

LL Bean版本。于是转战Legacy GT Spec.B，找了两个星期，全美国也就不到10辆，在
NY/NJ地区看了两辆，都是被狂草过的，一辆50K的开价$23500，另外一辆90K的开价$
19000，还都不还价，卖家说："I don't have to sell it, actually I do not want
to sell it." |
