-CNN比较尊重事实，从事发当天到第二天新闻发布会之前，一直坚持Asian male的说法
，而且整体报道的重点不在枪手，而是受害学生和社会 群体的心理状况，包括美国和
维吉尼亚州的持枪法规等。
-Fox和ABC抓不到第一手材料，为争夺收视率，拼命猜测枪手身份，其实他们不care到
底是谁，只要公众看他们的channel而不是别家的报道就好。
-三流媒体，类似Chicago Suntimes，虽然曾获得八次普利策新闻奖，也不免采用各种
小道消息，说是中国人等等。但大家注意Michael Sneed的报道里措辞是很巧妙严谨的
，都是"a source said","it is speculated",所以公众很难就这种未经确实的报道去
起诉媒体。
-国内媒体，我都不忍心说，此事暴露了新浪、搜狐等对美国及其他国际大事报道的消
息渠道，美国随便什么报纸的新闻，拿来翻译了事，尤其是措辞不严谨，不注明消息来
源，把原文中的猜测翻译成了事实和新闻头条。

发帖数: 5892 | 44 近日，本国全民免费医疗系统所面临的问题再次成为本地民众热议的焦点。据本地智囊机构昨日（周日）公布的民意调查结果，三分之二的人开始担心政府的财政预算已经无法负担日益庞大的医疗系统成本；同时，由于就医时等候时间太长，越来越多的人表示政府应该改变现有的制度，允许人们通过购买保险等方式，以便生病后能够前往系统外的私人医疗机构中救治。
庞大的医疗成本令人担忧
这次的调查由本地智囊机构Munk Debates委托本地调查公司Ipsos Reid在5月31日至6月3日进行。该公司在全国范围内调查了1019名成年人，误差率为正负3.1%，20次中有19次（19 times out of 20）。
调查发现，大约三分之二（64%）的本地居民担心医疗系统的成本（health spending）在各省每年预算中所占据的比例过高，并认为日后可能上升至总预算的70%至80%左右。只有大约三分之一（36%）的人认为医疗成本渐渐上升到这个比例是“可以接受”的，以及无需过于“大惊小怪”（alarmist speculation）。
