speech therapists 涵盖的治疗范围很广，最好确认你的speech therapist是有专项特
长在pediatric swallowing 方面。 另外，early intervention也是你可以考虑的。
关于是否feeding tube，儿医可以建议，但是也不能强迫你接受，最终的决定应该由医
生和家长进行足够的沟通和交流后做出，重点是你有权得到全面的关于feeding tube的
信息。

重视，因为他都能听懂，只是说的字有限。我那个时候好担心有自闭症，好在我和医生
都排除了。后来进行language therapy,有进步。现在日常生活对话能回答，但是简单
，语言不丰富，和同龄孩子比还是差很多。因为表达能力落后，上学时有时候还咬人，
但反复和他说过后已经改正，知道在有不同观点时不能咬人，也学会一些简单表达。
虽然有speech delay，但是我们觉得情商和智商都很正常。他喜欢搭积木，变化多
样，很会玩玩具，那个language therapist说儿子very creative and smart(是个犹太
人，说话比较谨慎的）。puzzle 很会玩，一个人可以拼70张以上的图形。不到2岁半学
会游泳，还自己摸索出仰泳 。总之玩的悟性不错。
前不久想教他认字母，半个小时还是没有学会a,b,c，很沮丧，他也知道这些字母
是不同的，但是看到每个字母还是读一样的音。数数能数到10，我现在还没有勇气教他

掉，先去掉这个环境影响因素，然后如果发现小孩有遗传到，准备最早期介入治疗。
其实说的都容易，可事实上我们这种双语家庭本身就容易造成小孩语言上的
developmental problem和口吃，在家说中文发现了口吃，而speech-pathologist又是
说英文的，更混乱了。到时候专业intervention能有多大帮助很难说。。。 |

therapist. A speech therapist treats medical speech disorders, which could
be physiological or psychological in nature. A diction coach teaches you the
mechanics of sound production.
If you are at or near a university, ask the linguistics (phonology) or music
(voice/singing) departments if they can recommend a diction coach. |

information theory了，研究主要有三个PROJECT，一个通信的，一个信息论的还有一
个SPEECH的。
通信主要是研究LTE standard 的resource allocation， modulation算法，然后声称
要把network coding 的东西用在里面；
Information theory主要是计算性质的，计算量比较大，主要就是搞出来一些优化的算
法（LRS, Double description...），然后用比较POWERFUL的机器实现出来，我们实验
室还专门有人搞CUDA和CPU的平行计算的。
Machine learning主要是用来做speaker verification的，不过最近他也一直念叨着想
