两天前去一个常去的印度餐馆，吃山羊肉，服务员问：“Do you want mild, medium,
or spicy?” 我平时都是点鸡肉，都是要spicy，这次想都没想就说spicy，而同行的印
度朋友说mild。
结果这次我的spicy里面特殊辣椒放了很多，我让印度朋友吃一小半人家只吃了一口都
辣得受不了。我硬着头皮把它吃完了。
接着舌头就红肿了。现在连咽口水都剧疼。
不过好处是这两天人感到精力特别充沛。 |

ones I remember: mango chicken, too sweet, mango itself was very sweet, the
sauce was even sweeter, used white meat chicken which I didn't like, the
menu didn't describe it, it was supposed to be spicy, but there was no
spiciness whatsoever, price of it was $13. a rib dish that came in a small
metal pot, about $10 and only 7 pieces of ribs, it was also very sweet. got

Owner is from Chengdu(East part). I just tried several dishes. Generally are
good. Spicy, authentic Sichuan style. Spicy fried Chicken is just OK,

就是spicy和non-spicy的小区别，我说“没关系，我也能吃。”但服务员立刻把菜收回
，说“我们的政策是一定要让客人100%满意”，然后他当着我的面把菜倒进trash，几
分钟后把正确的菜送过来。
相反，在一个本地小有名气的中国餐馆，我有一次非常不愉快的经历。一个中国裔服务
员把我点的菜错送给了几个桌子之外的另一个顾客，我等了20多分钟才知道，然后她把
另一个顾客已经动了筷子的那个菜端给我，我说这个是不能接受的。她犹豫了好几十秒
，才说“好吧那我给你换。”我偷偷跟着她到厨房边上，发现她根本就没有换，3分钟
以后又把那个别人动了筷子的菜端给我。我不露声色，没有动那个菜。事后，我把以前
常给的25%小费削减成15%，保持笑容离开，但再也不去那个中国餐馆了。 |

我确实是处女座男，不知道什么地方显示出来的。
我归海是因为不太喜欢国内的环境，因为不想引起争论，所以不想讲太多。海归和归海
都是个人选择，人去自己更快乐的地方而已。国内的关系至今维持的非常好，和校长、
院长都私交很好，为了归海也曾放弃过副院长的机会。虽然我走了，他们依然给了我百
人计划的头衔，非常过硬的交情，我一辈子感激国内的985高校的情谊。
至于问我面试的时候有没有比“emotional level”更高的交流层次。我想如果有，那
就是要撮土为香，义结金兰了，短短的几个小时要做到这个，非常难，那是韦小宝的人
际交流层次。
找工作的网站：英国系统的有Job.ac.uk. 这个网站对英国系统的很全，包含英、澳洲
、新西兰等。还有就是你们行业的网站，你们自己应该知道的。
至于面试经验，你们看我失败这么多次，也知道我也没啥经验，就是谈谈自己的感受。
面试说白了，就是把你想表达的说明白。这个好像很容易，其实有效交流很难。如果你
教过书，而且对交流质量足够敏感，你一定会发现要让别人懂你其实很难。交流可能发

这是简化版本的烤鱼。因为家附近没有中国超市，所有的东西都是从shop Rite弄来的.
菜谱
用料：去皮去骨头的罗非鱼三片（我家旁边的超市只有这种鱼），洋葱一个，大蒜8瓣
，生姜一块，McCormick Mixed Pickling Spice一瓶1.5oz，2oz干辣椒一袋，料酒，食用油
，芦笋，蘑菇，long spicy pepper一个半，生抽，芹菜
步骤：1. 洋葱切成洋葱圈，铺在烤盘里，然后把鱼放在洋葱上。姜切丁，洒在鱼上
2.四勺料酒，三勺食用油，大半勺盐，搅拌均匀，撒在鱼上，等半小时
3.把鱼放进烤箱里，400华氏度，烤半小时
3.锅里放油，等油稍微热下，把McCormick Mixed Pickling Spice一瓶，2oz干辣椒一
袋，切成丁的大蒜八瓣，切成丁的long spicy pepper一个半扔进去，炒啊炒啊炒，闻

，一顿晚餐也只吃了个thigh，翅膀留着明天啃了。
烤turkey的时候一起烤了个broccoli casserole，蔬菜、肉都有了。

看父母对我们的好，他们的优点吧，矛盾是肯定存在的，但是大家都有好的一面，女儿
和奶奶感情是非常好的，小时候在国内待过，奶奶对她是真心真意的好。我常觉得这份
情谊也是难能可贵的，我小时奶奶对我就非常不好，我家婆婆重男轻女却依然对我家两
个女孩疼爱有加，我是尽量不吭声，但是情商方面还得跟女儿学习。
我女儿是天枰座的性格，不说大家也能明白一些，她对我说一些她的想法的时候，很多
时候我尽量少加太多我个人的意见，我更愿意让她自己去处理，我只说，真的为难需要
妈妈帮忙的时候，我会帮你的。
PS,女儿非常习惯奶奶的饭菜口味，被训练的一点点spicy的都不吃，我试图给辣的，死
活不肯吃啊，原本吃泡椒的二宝，现在也被婆婆训练的不吃任何spicy的了，我琢磨怎
