另外你说的那些，在美帝这里，有些超过四年级了。
我确信我们这里，四年级娃，负数运算还停留在 spiral 阶段。。。分数通分运算，我
没问过，但我猜可能也停留在 spiral 阶段。。。我晚上可以问一下俺娃。。。另外质
数可能也是 spiral 阶段，至少俺娃四年级中的时候的俺的感觉。。。俺可以晚上问一

，在 pre-K 结束时，差不多就是以 spiral 的姿势超前两个年级。。。因为那些学校
一般是在 pre-school 年级开始 spiral 公立学校 K 年级的内容。。。当然只是

比如两岁半可以开始为 high order thinking skill 来 spiral 打
基础了，比如 PBS Kids：The Cat In the Hat / Wild Kratts
/ Cyberchase / Word Girl / Super Why 等等。。。当然看电视时间
别太长把娃给看傻了，看完也偶尔问问娃看了些啥。。。当然如果
对电视或者电子设备有顾虑的话，那自己照着电视节目演个皮影戏
好了。。。
另外可以玩玩 spatial toy，各种形状的积木和可以搭/拼的东东，
还有 jigsaw puzzle 可以开始 spiral 起来。。。chess 其实也
可以 spiral 起来，将来 5 岁的时候学起来容易一些。
还有就是多去去 playground 啥的玩玩。酱油运动总是重要的。
其他的幼儿园都会教，不用重复投资了。 |

讲鱼和水流流速的 word problem。。。而不是高中生坐在教室里
用公式解 USAPhO题目，更不是 PHD 灌 paper。。。压力 vs
压强的术语，是个错误。。。但对五岁娃（高中以前 spiral 物理学
阶段的娃）而言，也就是个 2nd order mistake。。。直接上公式，
而不理解公式背后的 physics law，还没有简洁而逻辑地 apply
模型回到最初的 word problem，那才是 1st order mistake。。。
当然，术语用错也是不应该的。。。实际跟五岁娃（高中以前的
spiral 物理学阶段的娃）讲的时候，应该避免压力压强这种术语。。。
最好是使用 layman's language，避免术语，侧重于逻辑和建模。。。
当然，网上灌水就顾不上那么多。。。主要还是没人付我小时数。。。
错了也不罚款，最多就是被嘲笑一下。。。
另外俺也不是今天脸皮薄，而是今天有闲发个添堵贴。。。其他忙的时候
就过去算了。。。

不是东一榔头西一棒子的 spiral)，普通娃多半得三年级以后。
这个你自己都说了 -- “会了加法以后”。
“会了加法” 至少得过了 place value 才算会，是不是？否则数字一大不就当机了？
另外 spiral 本质上属于 unstructured learning。首贴和这个线程主要是在讨论
structured learning。 |

结束了Steptoe Butte的行程，195一路南下，转270来到了Pullman，这里是晚上我们住
宿的地方。
第二天，早早醒来，到附近的华盛顿州立大学走走，作为华盛顿州的主要两所州立大学
，WSU的位置和UW比较起来是如此的偏僻。
大学正处于放假，校园人很少很少。
WSU的吉祥物，Cougar，还有他们的橄榄球场Martin Stadium，每年WSU和UW的橄榄球比
赛都是周内最重要的一场赛事。学校干净整洁，多数建筑都是由红色的砖建造成的，绿
树成荫的校园里，红绿搭配，很是养眼。
Pullman小城基本上就是围绕着这所大学，走在校园，有些地方可以直接看到远处城市的
边界和绿色的麦田。
回到旅馆，收拾收拾，又上路了。沿着270，一路向东，不到十英里，就已经跨过了华盛
顿州的州界，来到了爱达华州的境内，"爱达荷"来自印第安语，意为"山地的宝石"。这
词最初专指科罗拉多州派克斯峰内产宝石的矿区，后来泛指太平洋沿岸宝石矿区。爱达

我理解Musique mm的意思，做spiral （slow） 的时候，的确应该把重心完全放在
supporting leg（这里是右脚，左脚spiral to the right），但是下一步three step
turn （quick） 的时候，左脚就要立即迈出去做这个spin。
我的问题在于，重心太靠后（右脚），以至于从这一步的slow接quick的时候，感觉需
要停顿一下。这样我的turn就转得不够快，如果我自己试图转快一点，就会朝右边歪过
去。反而有时候我cheat一小下，比如重心不放那么後，可以从这个spiral的扭力上给
一个momentum，很快的转向左边做spins。
我不知道大家看得懂么？用语言的确很难描述。 |

……的无理数。
以e为底的对数称为自然对数（Natural logarithm），数学中使用自然（Natural）这
个词的还有自然数（Natural number）。这里的“自然”并不是现代人所习惯的“大自
然”，而是有点儿“天然存在，非人为”的意思。就像我们把食品分为天然食品和加工
食品，天然食品就是未经人为处理的食品。
但这样解读“自然”这个词太浅薄了！为了还原全貌，必须穿越到2500多年前的古希腊
时代。

tax regime change, spending level etc, especially something fundamental, if
done in a short period of time, will rock the system, as you said a death
spiral. But there is something called "gliding path" or "phase in".
Essentially, cap fed tax revenue to 20% GDP, slowly increase tax on asset,
and decrease tax on income. How long it takes? For reference, S-B's proposal
on SS reform will take about 60 years.
