还没约。
physical therapist的意见是
肌肉强度非常好，恢复很快，身体条件很可能适合手术要求
还没约Surgeon，想请教一下应该询问哪些内容
以及关于手术的知识，有什么网上资源可以了解一下
也请介绍我去阅读。

a couple of weeks. If it is osteoarthritis, which probably has been
worsening for a long time, there won't be any effective treatment other than
surgery. Topical cream may numb the pain, but will not do anything to the
fix the underlying problem. Some problem can be fixed by the body
automatically, while others may need a surgery. |

therapy了。但是我的腰背真的很痛，尤其是晚上睡觉的时候非常痛，这几天从梦中痛
醒，大概睡4-6个小时就会痛醒。
肋部偏下的脊椎部分如果稍微用力压一下，就会有很强的刺痛感觉，MRI结果说是L4-L5
和L5-S1部分disc bulges。
我自己也注意早晚运动，适当的蛙泳一下，不过还是很痛啊，尤其是早上起床的时候，
请问还有什么好点的办法么？

be any treatment other than pain management. You can use OTC pain killer
like motrinor Aleev. There is no need for bed resting, and do whatever you
need as long as you can tolerate. It will take about one week before you

If you have numbness in your leg and foot, incontinence or fever, you may

Fracture is unlikely if you are not involved in accident.
Herniated disc is possible, but less common, and the treatment will be the
same any way.
The most important thing is to look for neurological deficits, ie weakness
not in your back, but in legs and feet, as well as urinary, fecal
incontinence. The lack of those shall be very reassuring about the extent
of injury.

希望24小时内得到简单治疗的，去Urgent Care
除痛苦和不便外，拖一周不会有大变化的，或者需要细查原因的，找家庭医生或专家。
（如果已有家庭医生关系并且诊所较大，一两天内能预约到本人或同事也有可能，免
了去Urgent care多交钱不治本）

学校health services说是sprain 用elastic band绑了一周 没有好转
问他们是不是要拍个片子 assure我说not necessary
我没有他们那么乐观 还是自己去拍了个xray 片子给health services的医生看 说我没
事没有骨折 再绑一段时间就好了
我不信 自己去医院要来xray disc 有一根骨头（ulna）都快穿皮肤而出了不过倒是真
的看不出fracture 上网放狗一搜 有个dislocation的病例片子跟我的简直一模一样
最后自己去了医院找了orthopedic surgeon 看了片子 诊断为Closed dislocation of
distal radioulnar (joint)
打了一个over-elbow cast for 6 weeks 就是把手腕强拧过去按在那里
现在拆掉石膏已经2 weeks 左手略能活动 医生让做occupational therapy
但是左右forearm 手腕关节明显不对称 旋转角度也非常有限 时有疼痛

今天下午提前下班去interview一只beagle,一出门就发现乌云低沉，在rush hour的洪
流中不太慢地驶过了thrugs neck bridge，随后就被条条明煌煌的闪电和炸雷以及猛然
而来的骤雨轰摊在hutchinson river pkway和cross county pkway上，基本只能以5-
10mph的速度根着前面的尾灯开，这时radio里突然传来tornado warning,说在staten
island和brooklyn随时可能出现龙卷风，直呼幸运，到sprain river pkway后终于以
20mph的速度缓慢移出雨区北去，到地方发现是个backyard breeder,一岁大的小beagle
竟然让她怀孕生产然后两月后就想抛去不要了，小狗身体被蹂躏得 |

打了几百个电话。预约orthopedist 换PCP，找PCP要referral。终于明天早上我可以去
看orthopedist 了。电话过程经常要跟机器说话。机器经常会问类似这样的问题

My knees and ankles always hurt after playing soccer when I was in my early
20s.
Now I didnt reduce my intensity but my joints can stand very rough abuse now
in my early 30s.
I used an ankle stabilizer from Walgreens.
It is black and bulky, but very solid made.
I sprained my ankle 3 times during the past 5 year playing soccer.
It healed within a week and no chronic pain ensued.
Make sure NOT TO USE THE ANKLE IF IT |
