A federal safety investigation, begun last week, into sticky accelerator
pedals on 2001 through 2006 model-year Ford vehicles has widened, and may
reach as many as 1.9 million vehicles according to The Associated Press.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has received 14
complaints of Ford Taurus sedans accelerating on their own, and as a result
has investigated an estimated 360,000 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable vehicles
from the aforementioned model years.

发帖数: 1621 | 3 05金牛，自从上周换了一次distributor之后，开始出现很多问题
最初是发现30-40迈/h的时候松开油门，转速还上升，速度也慢慢上升。
然后昨天在高速上引擎灯闪了20秒。cruise control失效。回来的时候，cruise
control又莫名其妙的好了。去autozone读code显示 no code found.因为是周日，修车
厂都不开，就没修。
今天就更惊险了，自动加速，靠踩刹车在红灯停下了，车还蠢蠢欲动。转速保持在1.5-
2k。然后停在旁边的停车厂了换到parking , 转速就奔5000去了。吓得赶紧熄火了。
再点火几次都一样，一着转速就上5000。最后狠踩了一下油门,貌似回复正常了。提心
吊胆的开回来了。
网上很多人有类似的遭遇，一般说是cruise control的电线卡住了进气口。感觉我的遭
遇很想是这个问题。
最后想问几个问题，
（1）记得以前有人post一样的问题，但是我找了很久找不到，不知道有没有高手记得
。记得是说吧curise control disable掉。
（2）这种问题我还是比较担心，想去dealer处修，问有必要么。

then some chemical or physical reaction happens. the mark is greasy like.
After I rub it, I guess I further ruined the vinyl coating nearby. now the
vinyl near the mark is darker, the mark itself is brighter, and other place
is as original. so now bacially I can see three distinct "marks" near the
suction cup mark. ugly |

volume when becoming solid ice and will burst/crack the tin can or plastic

bought aug 2012, currently 18k miles, the first 5k averaging 27 highway,
after 10k averaging 31 highway.
pretty much 500 miles per tank.
good:
- 6speed.
- looks good.
- bright light.
- buy the two tone interior.
- smooth, quiet ride on highway.
not so good:
- vinyl (fake leather) seats don't breathe well, sticky in the summer, cold
in the winter.

发帖数: 1095 | 41 这东西的确得经常洗。我的有一年没洗了，最近打着火后引擎crank非常费劲，要是不
马上给一脚油门几乎就要死掉。还以为是油泵要挂了。后来突然想起来这个filter，换
了个一般的就好了。另外这个东西是油性的，油可能会聚集在throttle body的轴上吸
灰尘造成sticky gas panel。对MAF之类的sensor有没有影响也未可知。虽然说明书上
说绝对没问题，who knows? |

以车不开的时候也在用电
Dealer开始一直查不出来，说是不常见，最后他们的技术人员一个一个Fuse排查过来才

我看有一个他们自己留着的账单上好像是300多，估计是他们Charge Honda的钱，因为
在保修内
出租车他们付给Enterprise 170多，所以没赚什么钱
