Rated no. 1 stockpot by Cooks Illustrated.
Very good price, usually in the $70-79 range on Amazon, and higher elsewhere.
Very well constructed, I own it and the unstated bonus is that you can use
the pasta pot as a gigantic steamer for things like lobsters or something,
in addition to using the regular steamer, of course.
No it is not triply-clad, it only has a thick aluminum base, but you don't

%的都给我感觉：那就是一锅。
最近我把所有附近的店的锅全看了，上至William Sonoma, 下达Walmart小百货。从设
计上让我觉得漂亮的只有两个：一个是Henckels的这锅配盖子；另一个是All clad的
8qt stockpot.
如果明天LD生气，跟我说，你或者把这ridiculous的盖子退了，或者退Le Creuset的锅
。我掂量一下，可能会去把Le Creuset的锅退了。 |

的东西，就是multiclad系列的比较好用，其它的都算了。
另外那个20.5我不知道是干嘛的，12.8应该是直径，锅底锅顶差不多。Triply的比较沉
，你去查一下标准的triply的重量就知道那个是不是真的了。
你要是喜欢玻璃盖子，又是triply的，Berndes 6qt stockpot，我在Home Goods买的，
$50, 我觉得很好用, 清洗也很容易。 |

Berndes 6qt stockpot这个质量如何？不在乎牌子，但在乎质量。
本想先在网上查一下，因最近的开车都要近45分钟，但Home Goods的产品目录好象在网
站上查不到。

french oven是铸铁的，很厚实，我觉得french oven挺好的，炖煮皆宜。普通的french
oven不太浅的，虽然不及stockpot深，但是炖汤煮粥够用了。wide oval的french
oven就比较浅一点。
除了lc，staub也是很好的铸铁锅牌子，最近sur la table有deal，可以去看看。
如果不要这种名牌的，很多平价牌子，比如前面提到的lodge，也做铸铁搪瓷french/
dutch oven的 |

8Qt的再贵10刀，想了想，6Qt应该就够了....
这个是不锈钢内层的， 不是cast iron， 外层是一样emerald的...
没有生铁那么保热， 不过好处是轻很多， 样子也很能上台面...
能煮汤， 能进烤箱， 能端上桌， 基本万能....
发现陶瓷平底煎锅现在很流行， Marshall's很多这种锅，
我犹豫了下，还是没买....
顺便展示下我家破掉的荷兰锅.... |
