过，记不清。突然想起sophie's choice，虽然没觉得“炫技术，矜文字”，还是很有
深度的。william styron另外还有一本lie down in darkness，据说也不错。conrad的
heart of darkness也不错。我走dark路线了…… |

down in darkness也都很阴暗忧郁，不过改编成电影的可能只有sophie's choice一部
。说起来fitzgerald也是这个路子。 |

次供大家讨论：
上次聊《走出非洲》时，tinte说电影里Meryl Streep演的Karen，叫情人Denys的名字
，都叫得尤其动听。Karen是丹麦人，Meryl Streep模仿丹麦口音的英语，口型小，语
调常常先扬后抑。这种特殊的口音，也正表现了她的特殊身份：一个背弃主流社会的边
缘人，操着独特的口音，来到远离文明的非洲大自然，寻找心灵的自由。
由此想起，除了《走出非洲》，Meryl Streep还演过好几个带口音的边缘人角色：一个
是《法国中尉的女人》，另一个是《索菲的选择》。
《法国中尉的女人》(The French Lieutenant’s Woman)根据John Fowles的同名畅销
小说改编，讲维多利亚时代的伦敦绅士Charles，和被讥为“法国中尉的妓女”的下层
女子Sarah的爱情故事。Meryl Streep演的Sarah处处剑走偏锋，与礼教社会作对。她先
是不幸爱上风流的法国船员，后又与订了婚的贵族子弟Charles相爱，致使Charles背弃

发帖数: 19 | 12 我不是很确定这一点。我的经验是，有些样品表面上虽然干燥好了，
但是在加热抽真空的条件下，还是看到样品内部产生大量的气泡。
做了个小实验验证了一下：
取了2.307g的PS（STYRON，分子量没有去查），用toluene溶解，
在通风橱内自然蒸发一周后，用油泵在常温抽真空干燥一周，取出来
称重，得到2.620g固体，残余溶剂质量大概在10%左右。再将样品
放入真空箱，升温至Tg以上抽真空干燥。可以观察到样品内部有大量
气泡产生。取出样品后称重，得2.267g固体（质量比初始质量略小），
说明此时溶剂才完全被抽干。
为了说明问题，上面的例子取的比较极端。但是至少我不能确定对于大
多数样品，Tg以下的真空干燥是否是足够的。 |

《索菲的选择》(Sophie’s Choice) 也和前两部电影一样，根据William Styron的畅
销名著改编。片中的波兰女子Sophie历经二战的集中营生活，烙下一生的心理创伤。
Meryl Streep用一口断断续续、口音极重、语法极差的波兰英语，极为传神地表达了
Sophie经历巨变后不稳定、不正常的边缘精神状态，用原著的话说是 “fetchingly
erratic”。
电影里有两个情节我最难忘。一是Sophie去图书馆借Emily Dickinson的诗集——那也
是个终生守在自家窗口、却描写出一个最瑰丽的死亡世界的“边缘”女诗人。管理员错
把Dickinson听成Dickens，不耐烦地大声说只有Charles Dickens，没有Emily Dickens
