IO is NSC 0602.最近版上好几个都是被这个IO NOID的，不过我的case背景估计是垫底
的。
在版上收到很多帮助和鼓励（ld刚才还说我这个case没有网上的帮助我肯定过不了的）
，所以也发个帖子（经验和教训，主要是教训）希望对以后申请的同学们有点帮助。有
点罗嗦，大家海涵哈。
首先要非常感谢flyflyhugo和bigbigbee ,在准备NOID response的这么短时间内给了我
很多有用而及时的建议。其次也祝福下一同在NOID煎熬中的几个mitbbs网友，我的case
很弱，第一次submission材料组织很差都过了，你们也会没问题的。
先说我的case:
EE 的ph.d,读书期间6篇journal（5个一作）,都是英文，其中2篇在top journal上；5
篇conference（4个1作）,都是英文，其中2篇top conferences。还有1个中文专利。
业内大公司工作，工作title虽然是技术类，但是不做R&D了，工作后没有任何
publication。

原因.
表面原因: sigmod submission太多, stoc submission少.
根本原因: 为什么sigmod submission太多, 因为database这一行, 大家基本上都不用
啥数学的东西, 脑袋想想就出一个algorithm, run几个程序就是experiments, 也不用
证明什么(关键在这里), 也证明不出来. 进入门槛相对较低.所以, 能做的人就多.
submission自然就多.
stoc/soda, 这两个会基本上是数学的会, 需要坚实的数学基础, paper种大量的数学证
明. 相对而言, 能玩的起的这些东西的人就少. submission自然就少. |

我先抛砖引玉一下
leetcode oj现在host在www.linode.com
我猜是 单个 6 core 或 4 core服务器，因为这家公司这两种性价比比较高
leetcode 每题有200k左右的submission在3年左右的时间里
所以每分钟的submission大概平均是200k*150题/3/365/24/60=19
以高峰200 submission计
60/(200/6)=2s 每个submission只分到2s左右的时间，我猜勉强够用吧(很粗略的估计)
用的是nginx server，后台是啥就不知道了
一旦你submit，就会得到一个submit id，每隔几秒check一下是不是有结果，直到有结
果为止
这里就有一个疑问？为啥不是submit后直接等结果？而是先拿到submit id，再不停
check？
有一些open source oj是submit后，php直接调用shell script去编译给结果，不需要

会。
基本都是combine以前版面的一些帖子然后自己把所有相关的的都交了的结果。
w2只交了去年的，因为10年的找不到了。
工资单交了三个月的。
cover letter的前部分主要就是介绍了一下自己的status＋签证入境的经历。希望能给
IO少点时间。不要问我你xx年xx日从哪里入关忘记了应该怎么办这些，因为我也不知道
要怎么办。我自己每次都是从一个地方入境，所以不会不记得。如果不记得的同学去找
找你们护照上入境的章子，会有入境和出境时间还有地点，当然如果是章子盖的清楚的
话。
然后我是从cvs买了三个纸做的文件袋，有颜色的，所以三个package是一样一个颜色，
然后底下也列出来了谁是谁。信封简单封好，不封太死，然后文件袋正反都写上，
ORIGINAL SUBMISSION, I-xxx FOR MISSGUO2
然后三个文件袋combine，最上面放上这封信。一起封到fedex的small pak里面寄走（
usps怎么弄我不知道）。
