这题一个常规做法就是用一个数组f[n]来存array[0..n-1]的和，然后可以在O(1)时间
内算出任意continuous subsequence的和。再枚举所有的subsequence，和range比较。
这样时间复杂度是O(N^2)，空间复杂度是O(N)
请问有没有更简单的方法呢？不过感觉要找出“所有”的subsequence，隐含就应该是

重复字符串, 这个我说了哈希表和外部排序, 但是面试人说有更好的办法(后来想也许
是bloom filter), 然后追问外部排序的细节到结束. 估计要挂 :(
总结: 面试既是技术活, 又是运气活.

1. Obtain Bank Recon,
2. Send confirmation
3. Deposit in Transit: Review deposit slips, and obtain subsequent bank
statement, and verify the amount in the subsequent bank statement.
4. Outstanding check: basically look at all the outstanding check as of 12/
31/08, and vouch it through subsequent bank statement.

the longest subsequence must be one of following cases:
1) the whole sequence
2) starts from one end and ends at some middle point
3) starts from mid point A and ends at mid point B
1) is trivial
2) is also easy, in O(n) time can do
so what we need to do is find the longest subsequence for case 3)

I figured out an O(n log n) algorithm. Obviously it's not as efficient as
duckling3's solution.
-First, sort the elements, which takes O(n log n)
-Second, visit the elements from the smallest to the largest, along the
visits, stretch several "rubber bands" (where the number of rubber bands is
up to K, with K being the size of the resulting max subsequence)
++all the rubber bands have their "right ends" at position N (outside the

这两题，一个是subsequence一个是subset，如果不是连续的，难道不是所有的正数加
起来就行了么？

马戏团人梯是用排序+longest increasing subsequence做的。这题的唯一区别是，每
个盒子有自己的高度，要求的不是最多能堆几个盒子，而是求最大高度。但也是换汤不
换药。只不过在算subsequence length的时候不是清点有几个盒子，而是清点所有可以
堆上去的盒子的总高度就行了。 |
