A 51-year-old high school teacher, hospitalized for a heart attack and hooked to numerous
machines, was forced to spend several hours talking to psychiatrists after he remarked that
the constraints of all the equipment made him feel like he was "in Peter Coffin's inn."
The nurse heard the word "coffin" and thought he might be suicidal. Psychiatrists were

老婆不上班会让老公因为失业而更容易自杀的数据。我听到的是老婆没有上班其实是家
里的一个“security net”。因为如果先生失业了，老婆可以出去工作。另外，美国对
有disability的人还是有Long Term Disability或Social Secuirty的保护的，失业的
有失业金可以拿一阵子。不太至于因为先生失业而走投无路吧。
我想stay-at-home的家庭一般家里虽然财政方面吃紧一点，但是生活节奏方面的压力会
小很多。这也是我为什么选择做全职太太/妈妈的主要原因。我老公现在习惯了我在家
里，他对朋友都会说能够太太呆在家里最好。当然，并不是每一位先生都这么想，也并
不是每一位太太都愿意呆在家里。
