发帖数: 29495 | 10 今天的目的地是位于Baring附近的Barclay Lake，这个trail的评价很不错，而且离得
不远，而且有清澈，凉爽的湖水，是一个在这种炎炎夏日里避暑的好去处。
虽然距离不远，不过假日的traffic不是那么顺畅，听听收音机，就连西雅图各处的
ferry等待时间都要2到3个小时了，心里也就平衡了，过了Sultan，堵塞消失了，很快
来到了Baring，远远的就能看到高耸的Baring Mt。milepost 41 (east of Index,
west of Skykomish). 在635PI NE 左转，过了铁道后，拐上FS6024，发现这里是我最
讨厌的石子路面，不过还好，地面很平整，没有什么坑坑洼洼，一路都是在满山郁郁葱
葱的树荫里穿行，让人觉得一下子进入到另一个世界。4.6英里之后，抵达trailhead，
这个位置，处于一个山谷之中，东北边的有Mechant Peak等一系列山峰，西南边，则是
高高耸立的Baring Mountain。这些虽然不是特别高，但是也算秀美的山峰，衬着蓝蓝
的天空，已经让人觉得今天的hiking会是一个让人舒心地小旅行。

位于土耳其中部的卡帕多西亚，以其童话般的斑点岩层而闻名：奇特的岩石构造、岩洞
和半隐居人群的历史遗迹令人神往。这里起初是基督教徒躲避罗马迫害的避难处，公元
4世纪，一群僧侣建立了卡帕多西亚的主要部分。
这一篇里，简要记录一下这次卡帕多西亚的热气球之旅。
从伊斯坦布尔搭飞机，经过不到一小时的飞行，来到土耳其中部一个叫Kayseri的小城
。出机场再搭taxi（在土耳其语里叫taksi，素不素很神韵）。再过一小时，才来到此
行的目的地，Goreme小镇。镇上hotel大多依山而建，处于村庄的后面，由卡帕多细亚
自然的石头风化或辅以人工凿空而形成cave hotel。抚摸着房间墙壁四周，坑坑洼洼，

water current is really fast and have rocks in the water. We all wore
swiming suits to QI CHUAN Tao Sheng in case Canoe capsized. Fortunatley, we
You JING Wu XIAN. at 7:40 or so of the vedio, we even had a close encounter
with a one foot long trout. what a pleasant surprise! |

to have fun of such paddling. I do have a motor for my canoe though, but I
am not familiar with the waterway and this is my first time paddling down
this river, I know certain part of the river is failrly shalow yet rapid, I
am afraid it will damage my motor so I did not bring it with me.

买到了 Powertap. 那 $15 是用典型 craigslist 无赖杀价法砍的 --
老子钱就这么多，爱卖不卖。那老白一皱眉，还是卖了。花了 1 小时装，
（移 cassette, 轮胎，装轮子，走线），跳上去骑 trainer... 哇靠，
240W 耶！心率还没到 80% 耶！我能和 Al-sultan 有一比了耶！
嗯... 不对... 我不踩时咋还有 20 Watts 勒？ 结果发现 hub 的
torque 要归零。一归零... 180W。
唉。咋就不能给我做点好梦呢。不过还是有点收获, 本来我以为是 150W 的
workout 原来是 180W, 那 setting 3+20mph "180W" workout
其实是 210W. 再者我发现不管我以为自己踩得出力多均匀，都会有一个 power
spike.
我自己一直觉得骑 trainer 实在很像是看 XXX 片打飞机, 就是不对劲。不过

mammoth 出租的地方，有带靴子的，还有不带靴子的。看来，可以买一双很舒服的靴子
，然后租ski, 是不同的，然后再买ski

My roommates and I bought quite a few(at least 4 pairs, with waist width
78mm, 83mm, 94mm, and 104mm) Rossignal Bandit series. Rossignal has a series
called bandit, starting from B1, B2, B3, B4 etc and rename to B78,B83,B94,
B104,etc. In my opinion, it is very good choice for 1st pair of skis. it is
not that stiff and quite forgiving while you can choose |
