如果你实在不知道怎么选，找华人多的学校就是了。没必要纠结9分或者10分。
如果你查greatschools，superior elm是10分，k8是9分。但是redfin上面两个都是10
分。你信哪个？
那个就是个参考。
Boulder这边最好的是bear creek，然后是louisville那个core creek，然后就是
superior这俩。我说的是公立。
很多人送拉发也那个教会学校，pike to pike好像叫。你可以试试运气。
again，分是参考，别太教条。
如果一个学校从6分突然变10分呢，我们也只能当参考而已。 |

1. 事情经过是这样的：
2月1号周三晚上6时在洛杉矶到旧金山之间的1号高速公路上被警察拦下来
当时天全黑了，路比较直，路上都没车，又赶时间就没注意开快了
路上限速是55，因为黑夜看不清楚，警察写我开了110 （当时速度表应该是接近
100mile）
罚单具体内容: 22348(B) VC Exceed 100MPH I (Infraction, 还有一个选项是
misdemeanor)
要我2月29日去 SLO(San Luis Obispo) Superior Court上庭
罚单上也没写明罚款数额
2. 我的情况是：
我拿的是中国驾照（有一些英文翻译），租的Hertz的车，自己没有车。警察让我出示
了我的中国驾照，也没有记录无证驾驶。也没有要求我出示护照。我拿的是L1签证，没
有绿卡或者保险。之前开车三年，在美国开车加起来14个月，从没有出过事故或者不良
记录。
我当时一再跟警察求情，说我不了解这里的法律，请他放了我，但是警察还是不理会，

了去Sleeping bear dune 一游的想法。
Traverse city位于Michigan的西北部，以盛产Bing
Cherry而著名。离Lansing大约180miles左右，周围就有著名的sleeping bear dune
national lakeshore. 我们的计划是早上在whitefish lighthouse旁边观赏日出，然后游
玩sleeping bear dune, 最后是采摘cherry.

我们去伊利湖玩过一回，那次还是从匹兹堡开过去的。湖边有国家公园，可以租船划。
只是水很混很臭。还有死鱼漂着。
密北Lake Superior真的是美极了。有机会去哪里吧。可以坐船看pictured rock。湖滩
的沙子是白的，很细。湖水清澈见底。游到很深的地方还是很清的。水很凉，但可以游
泳。比游泳池的水还干净，还没有漂白粉的味道。比起海滩，我更喜欢Superior的湖滩
。没有海水咸咸湿湿的感觉。而湖也是一望无际的。
回程专门停车看lake michigan，混浊和着臭味。天地之差。

如果你见过明州的车牌，你应该知道明州的slogan是万湖之州。实际上据说有13,000个
湖星罗棋布在整个州内。
同南方的同事聊起来，我觉得最不可思议的就是他们也会抱怨冬天的冷，而同事也会觉
得怎么有人愿意住在那么严寒的地带。
说起来明州的冬天确实是冷，冰天雪地，漫漫严冬。印象中一般10月底开始就是一片白
茫茫的，到次年4月底才会有春天的迹象。而且冷的时候真的是冷。记忆中最深刻的一
次，大约气温是华氏零下30多度，windchill则是零下47度。下了班去Costco逛街，停
车的地方离大门大约也只有20米，可是冰冷的空气好像能把整个呼吸道都凝结，只能屏
住呼吸，一路小跑冲了进去。
虽然如此，我依然很怀念在明州的日子。

周五日出前半小时起床，直奔不远的Devil Track River。
Superior 湖里的 pink salmon 其实来自一个美丽的错误。1959年，有人dump了2万条
小pink，从此到处都能看到它们了。
隔年的9月，pink要上溯到溪里产卵。也就是说，每两年才有一个月的时间河钓pink。
一进入河，pink的胃就开始分解，空出地方给卵。公鱼会长出大驼背来便利在激流中掌
舵。产完卵pink就挂了，所以河里的pink是很不好吃的。trout（鳟鱼）是不是进化的
salmon 所以可以不用这么悲壮？
到了Devil Track，已经有对母子在，从双城来，和母亲还是广义的同行。这儿子大概
14，用的bait，在fly fishing。因为前两天的大雨，河水十分的浑浊，根本看不到鱼
，我甩了几杆jig就走了。

month价格和one year一样，我选了month by month （因为是affordable housing，
rent有cap）。现在房东想反悔，说不offer month by month to affordable housing

on ballot pedia.
I actually got a useful hint from the opponent arguments, "On August 5,
2010, a Superior Court judge ruled that Prop 25 did not maintain the
2/3rds requirement to raise taxes, but the Superior Court's decision was
reversed by the California 3rd District Court of Appeals on August 9,
2010, allowing the ballot language to remain intact." It seems the 2/3
majority requirement for tax increase is for real.

are where federal cases begin. They are part of the federal court system,
while superior courts are part of the state court system. Federal courts
have higher judicial authority over state courts. You have probably mixed up
superior court with supreme courts. LOL |

无业黑混混为了抢手机，40多刀捅死大学生，完了还猛踢尸体头部泄愤，随后把整个车

我们实验室大多数是国际学生：三个中国人，一个韩国人，一个黎巴嫩人，只有一个是
美国犹太人。老板是一个印度裔的美国人。他对我们都还好，没有什么口音，也没有特
别压榨。

无业黑混混为了抢手机，40多刀捅死大学生，完了还猛踢尸体头部泄愤，随后把整个车
厢抢了个遍
全车乘客引颈就戮，无一出手干预。倒是有乘客主动交钱买命，还有人说“我没看你脸
，不要杀我”
这个混混，是周末刚刚因为袭警逮捕，杀人当天才释放的。
不许拥枪，不许正当自卫。liberal统治下，结局就是这种恐怖世界。

周五日出前半小时起床，直奔不远的Devil Track River。
Superior 湖里的 pink salmon 其实来自一个美丽的错误。1959年，有人dump了2万条
小pink，从此到处都能看到它们了。
隔年的9月，pink要上溯到溪里产卵。也就是说，每两年才有一个月的时间河钓pink。
一进入河，pink的胃就开始分解，空出地方给卵。公鱼会长出大驼背来便利在激流中掌
舵。产完卵pink就挂了，所以河里的pink是很不好吃的。trout（鳟鱼）是不是进化的
salmon 所以可以不用这么悲壮？
到了Devil Track，已经有对母子在，从双城来，和母亲还是广义的同行。这儿子大概
14，用的bait，在fly fishing。因为前两天的大雨，河水十分的浑浊，根本看不到鱼
，我甩了几杆jig就走了。
