Step3考场壮烈回来。第一天挺累人，最后一个block甚至做到有心无力状，看着题反应
不过来，导致来不及做完。非常没有信心能否通过。所以match之前先考Step3的童鞋，

复习资料：
UW 52 online cases : 基础。最好复习早起找高手一起过一遍，尽快摸熟软件，进入
状态。第二遍找一位水平相近童鞋过一遍，不断总结protocol. 考前迅速做一遍，熟练
运用protocol.
UW 41 offline cases: 我当时和partner每个case仔细做一遍，虽然不像online有反馈
，但对练临床思维，补充protocol非常有帮助。最后考试与41 case有异曲同工之处，
遇到复杂case也不慌神。

你有两个选择，一个是去医院做。 你这种不太复杂的orthognathic surgery 99%都是
由chief resident（residency最后一年）主刀，很重要的步骤一般也是他们操刀。
attending在旁边指导，其他resident来assist。好处：便宜。收大部分保险，如果不
是因为美观原因进行手术的话保险cover大部分费用，自己可能掏一两千就够了。
Attending经验丰富且一般会严格指导，虽然每个医院手术强项和手术数量不同，但基
本上这种病例chief resident每周都会做一例 。坏处：经验上确实没有老医生高，主
要体现在一些细节和complication的处理上。但是说chief resident的水平肯定不高那
就太武断了。手术的话技术再好的医生做都不可能保证没有0.001％失败的风险。
你说你找不到收你保险的oral surgeon不甘心，想去芝加哥找，我觉得你很有可能在芝

是这样的。我怀疑自己有Hernia，在学校的health center看医生，医生确诊是Hernia
，但说要送我去进一步看Specialist （让我看general surgery），看看有没有必要做
手术。
学校的health center就给了我一个医生的列表，有general surgery医生，还有些别的
surgery医生。但是general surgery医生都是一个电话号码，需要打去预约。
我想知道是不是我去看的医生就是手术的医生？怎么样知道哪个医生比较好，哪个医院
比较好呢？是让health center的医生推荐，还是可以到时候咨询那个Specialist？因
为我以为如果那个Specialist他自己就可以动手术的话就不好再让咨询他哪个医院及医
生好的问题了吧？
因为从没在美国看过病，特别是这种涉及到可能动手术的，比较惶恐，谢谢！ |

surgery will be very complicated and risky.
We will ask the best doctor to do the surgery if possible. Giving 红包 is
the only thing that we can do to possibly improve the surgery result. If the
surgery result is not as good as we wished, we will not regret ourselves at
least.

's a relative easy surgery done by neurosurgery team. Patient checks in on
the same operation day, surgery about 1 or 2 hours, stays in ICU for one day
, then stay in regular floor for one or two days, then go home.
We had a lot of patients like this, it's piece of cake in ICU. I have never
seen patients failed the surgery in my hospital. |

pediatric cancer.
The treatment is surgery + chemotherapy. The most important thing is to
achieve complete reaction by surgery. Pre and post surgery is also needed
for long term survival. Cisplatin is the most effective drug for treatment -
I am sure they are using that in Beijing. If surgery can not resect all
tumor, liver transplant is another option.

babies can recover themselves. Only a few need surgery. Massage does help.
Even if your baby requires a surgery, it's a minor surgery. Not a big deal.
Don't worry.
i had the surgery when I was 27 and fully recovered in 2 weeks. The doctor
said blocked tear duct is common for baby and the seniors. Treatment is
