昨天夜里听见先生和儿子的声音在楼上，当然我不知道是录音，是模仿，还是真人就在

。但这世界，真正有思想，有见识，又独立，不说假话的专家并不多。一个人是不是专

替我太太发的帖。
她去年末开始被干眼症困扰，传统疗法不见效。听说外州有眼医不错但收费昂贵，为了
及早治好病，我们决定砸锅卖铁也要去看。于是今年四月前去就医。
医生扫描了眼表，给她看了video说有conjuctivochalasis（结膜松弛，眼睑上部
superior），并在右眼做了羊膜移植手术（Amniotic Membrane Transplant）。术后立
即发现剧痛，眼球一转就感到刀割一样的sharp pain。医生说手术不彻底，需二次手术
修复。
家人觉得蹊跷，经人介绍在本地几个知名医学院陆续看了4位眼科教授，结论都很一致
：只是单纯干眼症。没有结膜松弛，这是老年病，她才二十多岁，不可能得此病；且诊
断的部位(眼睑上部superior)也非传统的发病部位(眼睑下部inferior)。术后并发症是
常见的瘢痕Scar，牵扯眼表导致疼痛，且羊膜移植的graft比眼表自体组织低，导致眼
表高低不平，加重干眼症。Scar是permenant的，但不推荐二次修复，因为手术越多，
导致的scar越多。医生应该术前告知。

improve language ability. The aggressive or violent behavior can be
controlled by medication almost all the time. The benefits of the invasive
brain surgery/procedure for the behavior problems are uncertain, and should
be the last option to trail. For some autism patients with intractable
epilepsy, and focal brain lesion, surgery might help somewhat. I would not
recommend my patient to have the procedure for autism. . |

osseous surgery 整口牙做 4x1100=4400 左右。
我单位的牙医保险年limit 1000。
有两个问题，
1. 这个osseous surgery 看上去挺恐怖的，不知道有没有人做过，效果如何？
作的过程痛苦吗？ 听牙医说每次做1/4， 隔一周一次。
我是想做的。
2.想省点钱，不知道能不能自己买个保险cover一部分花费。
查了一下，保险大部分有limit,而且还要等半年才能作这种花费多的procedure.
倒是有许多dicount plan,不是保险，每月交10快钱的那种，好像这个osseous surgery
可以降到 600x4=2400 左右。还是合算的。
恳请由经验的人建议。

费要近$3000。
自己作了网上research，了解到osseous surgery有可能有些不良的结果 - 比如说可能
会术后感染导致效果不能达到减小pocket，牙根暴露更多，暴露部份容易患龋齿。医生
说如果不治疗后来的结果是牙齿会提早脱落。

of curing vs.the risk & suffering during/after surgery. For stages 0-2,
surgery should be considered, but for stage 4 it's unlikely to work.

症状例如喝奶困难，体重增长缓慢，心脏增大等就需要做。 上次检查后宝宝生长发育

月20号医院给做了pregnancy test说是negative，所以我就放心手术了。全麻的。没有
别的X光什么的。医生手术后开的药我没吃。后来6月份发现不对去看OB，B超后发现怀
孕已经7个多星期了，按怀孕的日期从最后一次月经算起的话，应该5月21号那天已经是
4周了。后来打电话给医院，问为什么会是negative，医院就说是有这种可能性，比如

今天拿了我的上次surgery的所有medical records去给我的OB看了，还有我上网搜的一
篇讲麻醉在first trimester 有可能造成什么birth defects的文章给她看，她根本就
没仔细看，就随便翻了翻，几秒钟就还给了我，说手术前做的pregnancy test是
negative，说明太早了，她 说I don't think the surgery would cause any problem

improvement after surgery. Must be too late. But I can speak fine, eat fine,
no problem. The only thing is I cannot say "th" sound well, but one dentist
said my tougn has compensated in other ways, so no problem. I was told the
doctor was suggested surgery when i was born, but my family was strongly
againt the idea. See, i still grow up and i am fine. |
