While my little son pitched a shutout 2 1/3 innings to secure a next game in
his little league play off, my big son's team had an uncharacteristic day
in the Majors playoff. Their ace pitcher surrendered 10 runs in 4 1/3 of
innings to lose the series opener.

他们公款只能佩一把枪，爱好枪还得自己掏腰包。他用的是Glock 27, .40 的，枪柄小
到我都握不住，他的手比我大很多，枪小的好处当然是便于隐藏。子弹很牛比，是头部
凹陷的开花弹，他说你在外面是买不到的，打到人体上就是一个大窟窿。他推荐我买个
Glock 9mm的，理由是后坐力小，比较便宜。
他爱聊，我就请教了一些自卫常识。简单地说：
1．如果家里有人break in，不用先打911，警察肯定来不及救你。
2．你能做的就是拿起枪，先大声警告: Whoever get in my house, get out now! I
have a gun. I will shoot in 3 sec. 1, 2, 3. 然后就向地面或墙面开枪。
3．如果对方吓跑了，不要追击，不要再向背后开枪，即使他抢走了你的财物。
4．如果对方不退出，就可以开枪射击了，隔着dry wall 向敌人所在方位乱射也没问题
，自己要找好掩体。
5．在户外开枪警告时，不要朝天射击，因为子弹还会以同样速度掉下来，可能伤人。

我喜欢了将近十年的一首歌，Matthew Lien的Bressanone据说是史上最伤感的情歌。
来看看他的自传里里关于这首歌的片段吧
“几年前，我疯狂地爱上了一个年轻的女孩，还有，也爱上了南部蒂罗尔山区，它在意
大利的北部，与奥地利接壤，就在勃伦尔山脉的南边（勃伦尔山脉正好把意大利和奥地
利分隔开来）。
南部蒂罗尔曾经跟北部蒂罗尔（现在属于奥地利）和西部蒂罗尔（现在属于瑞士）是一
个整体。这个地区的人说的是德国的一种方言，但是由于蒂罗尔被分割开来，而南部蒂
罗尔变成意大利的一部分，所以这里的地名一般都有意大利文和德文两种名字。
总之呢...许多年前我给绿色和平组织工作，在那时候我遇上了一个让我心动的女孩子
。我们是在加州的约塞米蒂国家公园归途中相遇的。自那以后，她回到科罗拉多州的绿

林志弦老师在《我是歌手》演绎这首歌之前说过的几句话很是中肯。选择这首歌，是出
于对作者(这首是I Surrender的中文版)的致敬，希望大家能被这个旋律感动，非常喜
欢也非常崇拜写这首歌的人，真的写的太好了，这辈子能遇到这首歌，可以唱到这首歌
，不管唱多少次，都是一种幸福。不能说能唱最好，享受音乐，尽力做好！
林老师这么多年来还一直在钻研和认真学习唱歌技艺，以前他的歌高音多用假音，多少
有点无力不能太打动人。今几年用真音或混音较多，唱得更有味道了。曾看过一个视频
，他一首E歌练了近十一年，现场演唱过好几遍，到最后才算把这首歌唱好了，真是令
人肃然起敬! 从不停止追求，尽力做好，做什么事都需要这种精神吧!
林老师的功力怎么夸都不为过，翻唱过这歌后更是崇拜，他那漂亮的高音，唱这首歌太

如果他们不是卖狗的，不要钱，你可以考虑先接过来，然后送到shelter，这样可以做
绝育及健康检查，还能打针，不失为一个权宜之计。
另外，你交狗给shelter的时候，可以强烈要求adoption的家庭必须有big yard，有
fence，并注明这狗非常需要运动，喜欢jump,digging。
我们这里surrender一只是25刀。breed rescue不收owner surrender，不过一般SPCA的
那些kill的shelter对于特殊品种的狗，最后还没领养出去会联系breed rescue的，转
交过去。
husky，我觉得很容易领养出去，但是，估计时间也不会久主人就会搞不定，除非是以
前养过husky的。他们的外表太吸引人，但是真的不是一般养狗的人能对付的…… |

First off, any of you whom have surrendered a pet
to a shelter or humane society should be made to work
in the "back" of an animal shelter - for just ONE DAY.
Maybe if you saw the life drain from those sad,
lost, confused eyes, you'd stop flagging the ads on here
