On the night after Christmas, dozens of kids gathered to play pingpong in
dimly lit gyms behind two separate Plano strip centers.
Most of them were smiling and laughing as they sweated and swung their
paddles, sending little orange balls all over the hardwood floors. But these

just came back from the beach. it was 90F out. In fact, after the 4.6 mile

morning when I started running on the treadmill I sweated more than usual. I
suppose this is my body's
mechanism to adjust to the heat -- starting to sweat at lower core
temperature. |

By the way, I retract my statement that I sweat much more in a 6 minute mile than in a 9 minute mile. I don't seem to sweat all that much in mile repeats, contrary to what I remembered. maybe it's the wind. |

It does not help you burn ANY fat, period. You sweat a lot more. But how
much you sweat has nothing with how many calories you burn whatsoever.
Otherwise I could sit on Florida beach and lose weight. What you do deprive
