如果这样做可行的话，我觉得用powerpoint比用板书好。一来可以缓解紧张，第二，如
你所说很organized，第三，这和present paper比较接近，所以对非母语的人来说更习
惯。当然，这三点是否构成优点取决于你个人的情况，如果你是good talker，那用ppt
就显得过于拘谨，反倒体现不出优势。
我觉得formal的着装从来没错的。这15分钟是面对学生讲课是吧？国际女faculty在tea
ching中是比较容易被学生challenge的，正式的着装至少可以镇局面。 |

给这个awd使用者avis first待遇，然后再把这个awd attach到你的avis preferred
member上。这是一个潜在的麻烦。不如现在AA的机场租车offer，需要AA的awd才能work
，但是你avis帐号的avis first所关联的awd好像优先级别比AA的awd高（也就是冲掉了
），于是有可能拿不到AA bonus。没个人实践过，但是看flyer talker上有人说有麻烦。

我觉得老师也还是比较敬业了，每天安排很多很多教育的活动，
教的东西也还是很多。不过她自己也说自己是talker，遇到我儿子这种闷葫芦，
估计就比较不对付。
不过我也觉得儿子的脾气需要好好教育一下，不能什么都顺着脾气来。
而且也更注意要他尊重别人。

我家女儿没跳级，她的好朋友跳了。我家女儿刚上 K 时的 reading 读 Magic Tree
House 没有任何困难，数学什么程度不太记得了，多位数加减肯定是可以做的，因为还
记得在 Montessori 上 K 的时候，老师留过作业，能做但是不是很熟练不是很快。她
的好朋友和她比起来，基本各方面都要弱一丁丁点，reading、数学、运动、社交。
完全看家长怎么考虑。她的好朋友家长坚决要求跳级，我家非常不想跳级，所以就留在
K 。现在我家三年级，她家四年级。她家娃儿跳级后，仍然进了 GT，在年级里基本没
有社交问题。据说有男孩子上 PE 笑她跑得慢，但是似乎她不是很 care。个子在年级
里基本是最矮的。不知道再过几年会不会有什么问题出现，但是 so far so good。
Academic 方面。家长有时会讨论 MAP 测试成绩。她家的成绩和我家的基本一直类似，
略低，reading 和 math。感觉是否跳级，对 academic 影响不是很大（可能是因为我

文（链接：http://blog.renren.com/GetEntry.do?id=915411808&owner=234300405）。我自己不是状元，也没九所大学求着录取我。事实上，我是个不折不扣的偏科学渣：国内语文不错的同时数学150分的卷子只能考38分。以至于老师当时下结论是我高考没啥希望。。。后来来了美国后因为当美军打仗的缘故，一个本科读了8年。。。上大学后继续延续理科奇差的习惯--物理作业基本是我家领导给我参考的（领导是理科博士。。。）。。。噢，我本科GPA 2.97...甚至不够研究生的最低申请标准。。。
不过。。。偶本科的时候读了24个研究生学分（30个硕士毕业）做了研究生一般才做的
tutor program manager啥的。最后老师还是破格把我留校读了硕士。（需要找dean
wave GPA 要求）
然后我拿着我的小研究报告去哈佛忽悠了一下后，9个月以3.91的GPA 溜达的去当了一
个小米国公务员。。。

国经理都说他自认为是个talker了，这个老印比他更甚一筹。组里其他人都同意，我也
没好意思多说，随大流也同意了。来了不久，升了一级，是我们组除了经理唯一的一个
最高级别的了，这个应该是他和经理面试时说好的。
在他来之后不久，我们组先后走了比我元老的两个人，现在就属我最老了。所以我带着
他。老印remote工作，估计每天工作俩小时吧。不过这个不关我事。之后反正合作各种
不愉快吧。老印的通病，能说不能干。一有事第一句话就是不是他的问题。我们的测试
都烦他。他有一点芝麻大的事就拽着我。我傻，也就耐心帮他一步步看，证明为什么问
题在他那边。不过train他也给我带来了一点credit。年终总结算一个亮点。
问题是现在都1年半了。还狗屁不懂。我手头的事情比较多，经理给他分了一点过去。
他不明白就偷偷用messenger问我，经理什么都不知道。我想这么下去没有credit，我
就不理他。他电话我，msg我，等等我都不理。他倒好去问测试的。我们组测试的家伙

lawyer filed I485 for him just a week ago.
If your case is not that strong, please find a REAL GOOD lawyer!! VERY VERY

no 1st-author papers;
no English publishments;
all papers published in China < 5
But his I-140 was approved! He told me his lawyer submitted his I-485 on the
