hiring committee，再match team. HR说match team比较promising, 但不guarantee能

内Oracle有过一年多的测试， 主要是web testing。板上牛人不少，在google肯定也不

面试开始的时候对方让介绍一下我的情况。
等我把项目经历说完了之后，他回复说"we didn't do much about ..., we have two
projects about data mining."
可是我简历上完全没提data mining，这是怎么帮我match上的。顿时觉得希望很渺茫。
听hr说等team里的feedback通常要两周，因为要考虑别的candidate，然后才能重新进
入team match。
好耽误时间，感觉team match不是很靠谱。

match才能发offer。因为我手头小公司这周五deadline，他不能确定这周五之前能

我还问了他如果面试表现的更好是不是会直接发offer，他说是的，说我五个都是

我的背景是理科phd，不知道是不是面的题难度不大，或者自己简历写的不好，或者是
成绩单上有b不是全a。
现在想问一下team match成功的概率大吗？match的过程一般是多久呢？
自己在想实在不行先接了小公司的，等match上了再反悔？会对以后发展有坏影响吗？
或者直接据了小公司，一心等google的team match，这样的话有多大的几率最后match
不上offer泡汤啊？ |

。前两周谈了个cloud machine learning platform 的组,我觉得不错就答应了，然后
recruiter 拿去给 cloud infra 的SVP approve 之后我就把offer 接了。可是这周又
突然告诉我之前的组head count被砍了,所以得重新找team。因为offer是cloud 的SVP
批的, 所以只能在cloud 里重新找了。板上的各位在狗家的前辈们能给推荐下cloud里

俺在一个老IT公司，所在的team做咨询和实施。说说我的感受吧
论技术：
Team里技术最好的是还真的是华人，没有一个差的。有新来的，很快也掌握的非常好了。
技术最好一批人里有印度人，不多。最烂的，有好几个印度人，极烂，烂到令人发指。
白人，吹的厉害。有个老兄，你问他啥，他都说very good at it，or 10+ experience
，然后不出货，急死人。 还有，大多数白人都不做具体技术，以咨询就是忽悠为主。
所以就导致了team里几十号人，做实施写code的不超过8个，大多数是中国人和印度人。
还有个叫侯赛因的中东人，那厮是所有人的噩梦，水平差不说，脾气还不好，电话里就
跟客户急了。
论升职，以及职业发展：
公司大，都是做技术的，升职很难。所以，进来的时候谈的好，每年都有一定的涨幅也
不错。这里就看出来，印度阿三真的是无底线的帮阿三。狗屁不懂的人，招进来就给个
Senior。

project manager主要是对一个项目负责，应该没有人事权，要cross-team，主要是和
不同的team打交道以推动项目进行。如果sr management team注重这种function的话还
好，要不然就是打杂的。我现在公司的philosophy就是让engineer自己manage自己的

我想，一个刚毕业不久的Phd参加工作，总有一些傲气，觉得自己各方面不错，因为在
做PHD论文的时候，因为学术的独立性，要求PHD自己从头至尾完成一个项目，所以刚到
公司的人，嘴巴上说着我是good team player,但遇到别人想分享你的credit,抢你的
territory，总有一点自我保护意识。这个想法是天生的，只是有些人会非常不明知的
表达出这样情绪，有些人还没有胆量暴露出来，有些人是想等待时机。。。。反正各有

者你把老板哄得只相信你。
我n年前在国内硕士毕业后找到了一份美国大药厂的工作，当时非常兴奋，但工作2年后

CBC SPORTS ONLINE - The Edmonton Oilers may be disappointed to be out of the
Stanley Cup playoffs, but Team Canada isn't.
Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Smyth will compete in his fifth consecutive world
hockey championship.

ago, or the most annoying team, like USC at this time.. |

When you say "the teams beat us can sweep all other NCAA conferences".
When you keep talking "well, in my state there are many good teams, Miami,
FSU, and my neighbors are also pretty good, Bama, Geogia, ..."
When you are happy to death when you find there are other teams have the same
win-loss.
When you get your coach fired before the season ends.
When you talk about "coaching my team is 'dream job of College Football Coach'
", just minutes after your coach got fired.
