read it every night. Great gift for kids for birthdays, holidays or just
because. I first bought this at a small boutique at full price. Definitely
worth it even at that price. This is the cheapest I've seen it anywhere. I
always get a phone call from parents raving at how much their kids wants to

名字。有时候拖拉不肯出门，一说到 我女儿已经在教室了，马上就出门上幼儿园了。
说句实话，我听到很高兴。因为女儿语言的障碍（十几个小孩，两个中国小孩，其他全
是白小孩），才去一个月，就有个这么喜欢她的同
学还是出乎我意料的。于是我就问我女儿，你喜欢她吗？她说喜欢，但是说到那个女生

他不肯stop，或者总是touch他。我第一反应就是他不停你就fight back啊。你也可以
tickle他，让他知道这是多难受。他总是很严肃的说，no I do not want to do that,
because that is not nice。 和楼主的孩子也是一个意思。不过口头喊stop很多时候
对皮孩子来说真没啥震慑力，所以他还是会回家抱怨同样的问题, 不过他一直坚守自己

译出上一本书以后，由于暂时没有适合翻译的新书，我开始给自己放假：每
天坐在厨房的录音机旁，边听磁带边看电子书。三天前，随便拿出一盘《美国乡
村音乐系列情歌》（The best of country & western Vol.2），A面的第一首是
节奏轻快的《神龙帕夫》（Puff, the Magic Dragon）。这首歌我不知听过多少
次了，却从没有注意过歌词的内容。于是，我拿起磁带的歌片，看了看它的歌词。
然后，我被歌词的内容迷住了——我不能完全看懂它的象征意味，这反而让它显
得更加迷人。我想，这绝不是普通的流行歌曲，一定在西方或者说美英文化生活
中留下过印记。为了求证这一点，我必须上网。
我打开电脑，连上网络，在百度百科中发现了一篇谈论《神龙帕夫》的文章：
“‘有歌评这样说：这首歌主要是谈小孩子长大的过程，及对环境的感受。
歌词中的Puff实为一虚构的奇异龙，用此来影射孩子小时侯很喜欢小玩具，长大
后就把奇异龙甩掉，因为孩子已慢慢长大，对这种虚构的东西已不再有兴趣了’。

我愣住了，茫然地点了点头，说了声好。
