Long time ago, one can transfer from part time to full time at GSB
However, recently, GSB has decided not to do so any more.
What student can do if he really wants to do full time is:
choose classes full load, and even some with full time students, and study
as a full time, However, the student status at GSB will remain part time.
By the way, if this someone you know did it in the past 5 years. How he did?

但是也有些不甘心，因为还是很想全职好好学习法律的。
就排名比较，Santa Clara今年七十多名， Pacific Mcgeroge九十多名。地理位置，我
希望毕业能在湾区工作，因此Santa Clara比在Sacramento的Mcgeroge好一些。ＩＰ法

看到很多人举例子说什么youtube、newyork times对一些内容设置禁止回复，说这个是
什么舆论管制、没有言论自由。
这些人根本就没弄明白啥叫言论自由，和言论自由的对象。
首先，言论自由这个概念中，干涉言论自由的只能是政府、军队这样的国家机器，而不
能是个人、公司或组织，比如youtube、newyork times，他们是拥有言论自由的拥有者

@harbourfrieght $23。赫赫，下着雨，里面的人居然是满满的。好疯
狂的老美们。
昨天晚上就试了试，不太会用，根本就找不到那个所谓的15度红线，
也没有看到TDC的标记，白白忙活了半天。但是总算有了些经验，
今天就调整的非常顺利。但是又发现了一个新问题。俺的小破车的
advanced timing有些问题。当加了一定的真空以后，manual上面说
timing应该提前4度左右，结果俺测出来足足提前了8度。另外，把真空
全部去掉的时候，timing应该是在4 BTDC左右，但是俺的却在2 BTDC。
难怪现在感觉低速的时候声音比较大，原来timing提得太前了。
大家谁有也碰到过类似的问题啊？给说说吧，看看如何解决。 |

所以timing chain还有一个及其复杂的润滑系统，10万以上的时候会导致漏油，
几乎所有用timing chain的车都漏油，从发腊力，奔驰，奥迪，到尼桑，这些
用chain的车老了没有一辆不漏油的。而且，chain的tensioner常常是塑料做的，
历程高了导致断裂，会发出比较大的噪声。
所以，现在除了那些做不了timing belt的车厂，比如nissan，已经没有什么车厂
出的新发动机还在用timing chain的 |

发帖数: 12525 | 29 省省吧,你们都没见过断了timing belt的toyota吧?
一般情况下timing belt即使开上20万英里都不会自己断,绝大多数情况不是
水泵坏了就是tensioner坏了,彻底卡死水泵或者tensioner,于是timing belt
在水泵或tensioner轮子上打滑,这个过程产生巨大的热量,基本上所以timing
belt带动的pulley的轴承都会被烧死,更要命的是,这些pulley都是顺时针选
择的(为了防止pulley轴固定螺栓被拧出来),所以一旦pulley烧死固定螺栓也
会往顺时针方向死死拧死.
所以这种断timing belt的车,里面所有东西都要换掉,不但得换掉,里面的所以pulley
都无法用正常的方法拧下来,而且很可能拧的时候咔嚓一下断在里面,这个时候,即使
你是non interference的engine,都没有人愿意给你修了,哈哈.
所以,赶紧去换timing belt,现在换,最多也就400块,等断了换,光里面一大堆烧死的
pulley的零件费就要好几百块. |

time H1B,还是就别回去了，先从part time 转成full time 再安心的回国呢 ？
有什么不同和影响吗 ？

（如果找不到别的，就一直呆在那里咯），
因为只有1年TA经验，觉得一下子可能找不到full time的，但是看许多college需要
part time instructor，可不可以通过公司办个part-time H1B，然后去college兼职
教门课积累下经验，日后再慢慢找全职的。那时候还能转成full-time H1B么？还是我

学位），由于家庭原因想辞职或者转为part-time，考虑以下两种解决方案，想先咨询
一下。
（1）路径1： h1b转h4, 处理家庭事务半年，大概今年10月或11月重新再找工作转成
h1b。
但是有个疑问就是第二次这个h1b需要占那个每年4月1日前申请，10月1日生效的6万5千
+2万=8万5的名额么？因为我已经没有opt可用，如果由h4转回h1B的时候还要占8万5的
名额，那没有公司愿意帮我4月1日file H1B 而等到10月1日再让我上班了。如果h4转回
h1b不需要占8万5的名额，那么有没有时限规定，比如持非h1b多久转回h1b是不需要占
这个8万5的名额的？
（2）路径2： 由h1B 的full-time转为h1b part-time,处理家庭事务半年，然后再由
h1b part-time 转回h1B 的full-time。
问题是这样的操作性如何？期间我可以换工作么？

Can anyone give some resource if the pre-OPT unemployment time count into
the 90 days unemployment time?
For post OPT, you have 90 days umemployment time, if you apply pre-OPT and
have some unemployment time, does this time count into 90 days unemployment
time? An official link is appreciated.

最近公司不景气，cut了401k, 还挑高了medical insurance premium. 没有办法，只好
出去找个part time job. 正好离公司10分钟车程的一个墨西哥餐馆招 part time
waitress for lunch time, 我就去应征了。其实也没有几个钱，可是苍蝇肉也是肉啊。
没想到，上班才7天，今天中午就碰到full time job的manager带客户来吃饭。他看到
我的时候愣了一下，但是没有说什么。理论上说，我是用full time job的时间干别的
事情。咋办阿？ 明天给老板送点什么东西能糊弄过去吗？

想听听大家会怎么想。当然决定还是要自己做，而且其实也不是特大的事。
我要孩子晚，一把年纪了，大的刚上K，小的还不到半岁。现在我上班，GGPP帮忙。到
年底我妈妈会来再帮几个月。最近偶然有一个换工作的机会，已经拿到offer了。但是
我需要在这两天决定是上full time还是part time（一周四天）。我知道自己内心想要
part time，LG也支持。我想多出点时间和孩子们相处，到老大学校做做volenteer，也
做做家务，省得周末忙得比上班还累。
接着上full time的理由呢，主要是GGPP计划明年春天利用同一个签证再来半年。以后
也想每年来半年，因为他们特别心疼老二，想他，也不想让我太早送daycare去。如果
他们不在跟前，我就不用告诉他们我每周多歇一天。可是他们在，我觉得他们不能理解
我放着钱不去挣，要在家＂偷懒＂。而且如果星期五在家，难免发生矛盾机会多很多。
（我现在周末都在忙着带老大activity，基本上一半时间不在家。）

最近因为搬家中断了Time Waner 的网络，一个月后收到讨债公司寄的Time Waner 的的
帐单（最后一个月的balance加百分之二十的罚款）。当时大吃一惊，信用至上的我第
一反应是电话付费。付费过后，才真反应过来，Time Waner 和讨债公司都太操蛋，我
们中断服务后，Time Waner 并没有给我们寄过帐单而是直接帐单寄给讨债公司并追加
20％的罚款，讨债公司也没管那么多直接向我们要钱, 而且所有这些操作都在一个月内
完成的，显然表明Time Waner 和讨债公司在滥用讨债手段。对付这种操蛋的做法，是
不是该控告？ |
